Finally! A thread just for me!
I dunno if this counts as a fetish or just as particularly pointed gallow's humor but i've always been struck by how a movie could never show a body on a stretcher without one of the bots, usually Crow (that sick bastard)making some "I hope you like what I made for dinner" type joke. Very funny stuff, but you don't want to contemplate the subtext too deeply.

If memory serves, there's a comment in Castle of Fu Manchu. Someone on screen says something like "I'm glad you came." to which Joel riffs: "I didn't mean to--the bicycle seat..." Or is that merely accidental auto-eroticism rather than dedicated fetishism?

Another Joel riff--this one from KTMA--he actually says "In the woods you can't beat Off." Again, not quite on subject, but another risque riff.

I would say risque counts too.
Invasion of the Neptune Men. Roji Panty Complex (had to look roji spelling up on the main satellite page ep. guide) A debilitating erotic disease caused by lack of panty exposure. Luckily for Tom those were clean packaged panties used for his treatment, not like the Underoos in Crows collection.
But a disease where the application of clean panties is the cure? Sign me up. Might as well take 'em out of the packages and roll around in them. You know what I'm saying? Sounds a hell of a lot better than SARS, or Ebola. Just make sure they are clean or you could end up with SARS, Ebola, or even... nevermind.

Of course, Servo speculated that the director of Gorgo had a foot fetish.... Is there a lot of barefoot women in that film? I really should get to watching that episode then...... I don't mind a woman's feet myself. That's one of the reasons I like "The Atomic Brain". That weird zombie girl walks around barefoot. A pity that character had to die.

I don't mind a woman's feet myself. You must like the works of Luis Buñuel Also of Peter Jackson, who seemed to love giving us shots of those gross hobbit-foot prosthetics. *shudders* But let's talk about something more healthy, necrophilia. One film dragged this bizarre passion out into the open: The Beast of Yucca Flats. "Tor want to make it with you!" But this is a rare case where the fetish is openly present in the original and not simply drawn out by riffing.

Speaking of risque riffs... a fave of mine is in Tormented when it's pointed out that a woman wearing a dress with large polka dots looks like a Twister mat--to which Crow impishly replies: "Right hand, red!"

Was it established Tom had an extensive underwear collection before the MST movie? I know it was referenced in the Sci-Fi era...
Some of the costumed antics of the mads bordered on fetish territory. And how many times did Mike dress as a woman?

No. In Gorgo, there's several shots of the mother monster's feet as it tramples its way through London. After the 2nd or 3rd time, Servo makes that joke.

Joel and the 'bots make a lot of jokes about Zor's perceived sexuality in "Cave Dwellers", including a suggestion of sadomasochistic attraction between him and Akronos. "You can go on beating me--" "--but--knee me in the groin first!" Interest in shop class as depicted in "Why Study Industrial Arts?" is also equated with sexual obsession. "...as I thrust the nail into the soft, yielding wood..." "I keep Popular Mechanics under my mattress!"

Did anyone mention Mike's tiny swim trunks in Horror of Party Beach? As the bots writhed in discomfort Mike waved things at them that really, really should not be waved at robots.
Also in The Creeping Terror Servo postulates that the monster's many prolonged eating episodes in which it slowly sucks down scantily clad girls head-first, each one lovingly captured on film, perhaps reflected a kinky little turn-on for the director. Is that too meta?

I suspect the beautiful Bridget Jones Nelson would consider that broken, not fixed, because after all, she is a thing in the universe (thank goodness).

The only thing that could've made that any kinkier is if Crow had asked for used panties. Btw, awesome facial ink, man. Must've hurt like hell, though.
