Boo on Fox for not dumping that game until midway through the third quarter. And my hopes for the 49ers are starting to severely deflate now after that performance in Denver.

RGIII...yawn...I think the experiment is over. I'm just waiting for Al Galdi's post-game five takeways destruction of this sorry football team.

Here's my problem with the whole RGIII thing. Dan Snyder apparently insists that he must play. They had won a couple games with Colt McCoy filling in, and I thought they had a nice roll going on. Would that have continued? I don't know, but at least McCoy had something going. To put RGIII back in, before a bye week that would have given him more time to recover also, I'm not sure was a wise thing.
Griffin isn't moving as well and at this point he doesn't have the speed to escape the rush. He also holds onto the ball way too long when he should throw it away. He doesn't seem to be able to make the progression reads and find open receivers either.
Washington gave up a whole lot of draft picks to get this guy, which may not have been the wisest thing either. And apparently in the past RGIII got perks that other players didn't have, I'm guessing based on this draft status, and the fact that Snyder has a man crush on him. Is he the answer? At this point, no. Can he be the answer? Only time will tell, but at this point, it looks like no.

At this point, no. Can he be the answer? Only time will tell, but at this point, it looks like no. I couldn't have said it better. His play in the last three games shows a QB who isn't comfortable at all in the pocket. It's like the only thing in his head is too run and passing the ball is something he feels forced to do. The post game show yesterday; I listen online to ESPN 980 since where I live there is no Redskins broadcast, only the &^%$*!! 49ers (sorry GarrettCRW); mentioned the fact that when RGIII plays the offensive line gives up an average of 5-6 sacks a game, but when the other QB's play it's only 2-3. So RGIII is the cause of at 2-3 sacks in every game he plays, not his lines fault as a lot of RGIII apologists claim. Alfred Morris runs for over 100yds in yesterdays game and that usually means the passing game should be easier to run. Why wasn't it? The defense cause three turnovers and only 3 pts were scored off of it. That's just not good enough. I'm not an RGIII hater but the offense was coming around with Colt McCoy as the starter. I don't assume that the 'Skins would have won all these games if Colt was playing, but I bet at least one game would have been won.

Mike Wilbon went postal on RGIII and Jon Gruden on "Pardon The Interruption" today. Wilbon thinks, and I would agree, that you bench RGIII and put in Colt McCoy. I mean, he could hardly do any worse. Of course, if Dan Snyder is calling the shots, that won't happen.

I'm not a Johnny Manziel fan. I'm not a hater, I just don't care one way or the other. I don't think he should have been a first round pick(for that matter, I didn't think Tim Tebow should have either). But watching the NFL Network showing his press conference, I've got to say he's mature, he stands up and says the right things. Jay Cutler should sound as good as this guy...
That being said, the Browns have to see what they have in Manziel, and to see if he can play in the NFL. He's one of these running QB's, and guys in the NFL are much faster than guys in college. If he can play, he can help the Browns get back to relevancy, or something.
