Let's face it, any day is good for MST3K, but usually I reserve my quality bot time for weekends, Sunday specifically. If I must wait until a weekday to do my viewing, it's Monday. What better way to start the week off right?
As for time of day, after much experimentation and error, I've concluded that evenings are best for viewing, but only early evenings. Maybe it's me (okay, it is me) but no matter how good the riffing, if I watch an ep too late at night, the movie itself is usually so bad (meaning slow) that it'll put me right to sleep.
In sum, 7:00 P.M. on a Sunday evening seems to be my sweet spot.
There! So much for my two cents. Now how about youse guys?

Well, I have two young children, so it's hard to carve out 90 minutes of time on a given day. I watch in parts or whenever I have some chores to do around the TV. Further complicating things, Mike-era eps are saved for when the kids are not around because, for the most part, that's when the show jumped to a strong PG-13 vibe. As a result, I tend to watch the Joels much more (which is great anyway because I grew up on them). I'm also happy to be introducing my young son to some of the tamer eps. Man, I remember as a teen just being able to watch full eps whenever I wanted from TV or videotape. Now to answer your question, if I had to give a perfect time in a perfect world, I'd say early Sunday morning after a busy Saturday because it's a nice time to relax.

Saturday at 8pm. Usually the highlight of my week.

Well, honestly, I can dig some pretty much anytime except really early mornings, but my favorite times are afternoons (while I'm working etc., interspersed with music), early evenings after I'm done cleaning up after dinner, and late nights 11pm-2am-ish. Usually, I like to match episodes to the time of day if I can. I like to save the ultra-creepy stuff -- like The Unearthly, Brain That Wouldn't Die, Leech Woman -- for after midnight; back when I was a kid, that was prime time for scaring the crap out of myself watching creepy stuff on TV, so it's a kind of an homage to my 9 year-old self.
I've got some "mixes" set up in VLC Player for Saturday mornings: an hour of Looney Tunes cartoons (complete with 1960s Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Hour opening/closing themes and bumpers), followed by two episodes of MST3K back-to-back -- usually the kind of movies Count Gore used to run on his old Saturday Afternoon Chiller Theatre, like Attack Of The Giant Leeches, Killer Shrews, Amazing Colossal Man, or maybe a Rocky Jones episode with a Hercules movie, or maybe a couple of Japanese episodes, usually Mighty Jack and a Gamera flick or Neptune Men.
But the most ideal time out of all of that? I'll go with early/mid evening, 7pm to 10pm-ish... I've had dinner, I've cleaned up the kitchen, I've loaded the dishwasher, now I can make myself a cup of coffee, roll a little doobage and pick out a really nice Experiment or two to go with it.
(In fact, it's 9:30 EDT here as I type this... the coffee's poured, I've grabbed a couple of drags, and I'm picking an Experiment right now... bop ah dop ah dah dah, dah daaaaahhh daaaahhhh dah dah dah daahh...)

My wife and I have developed the habit of watching Joel episodes weekdays at around 8 in the evening when dinner is ready. Youtube on the PS3 has been pretty awesome to watch anything you can think of. (I don't feel the need to pay for TV-it's usually crap anyway with commercials 90% of the time.) My wife absolutely adores 'Idiot Control Now'-we both nearly choked on dinner watching that segment on the first go. We just finished the travesty 'Laserblast' last night. Roddy, what in the world were you thinking!?

At home usually midnightish on weekends since I work nights. When I'm working I'm at a PC most of the time, and several times I've brought up an episode on YouTube and just listened with headphones. If I've seen an episode enough times I don't need to see it to "watch" it. I've picked up on a few riffs I missed previously that way.

That's one of many things that makes the show great-you always catch something new and different every time you watch.

I love watching anytime but my favorite time is at night. Ninety nine percent of the time I fall asleep while watching and what a glorious way to fall asleep it is...always with a smile on my face.

While cleaning or cooking, and every morning during my ablutions. I tend to put in full eps when I have a sudden yen to watch all of I Was A Teenage Werewolf, say in a go. Sometimes I'll watch one two or three times in a row. Sometimes I just really love the mood of the thing, like The Creeping Terror or Eegah! and watch it repeatedly over a few days.
