What are some bad movies that they didn't do that you think would have made good episodes?
I would have liked them to do Ator 3: Iron Warrior.

Blood Freak. It's so perfect for them, what with the turkey monster & the chain-smoking narrator, they'd do that one in good. I'm surprised they never wanted to do it for their Turkey Day marathons alone!

Cat-Women of the Moon. I don't even have to explain why this would be a great episode.

I'm watching cheesy movies on YouTube, trying to do my own episode of MST3K, and it's a LOT harder than the guys make it seem.

Bleeders. I think it would have been absolutely perfect for the Sci-Fi era, but I can see why they chose not to. (Assuming they were aware of that movie).

Heartbeeps. Andy Kaufman & Bernadette Peters star as robots who create a child robot named Phil voiced by, wait-for-it, Jerry Garcia. It makes Alien From L. A. look like a masterpiece.

Yor: Hunter of the Future.
Though, if MST3K hadn't done it, we may not have Rebuary.

Plan 9 From Outer Space: Even though RiffTrax finally righted this wrong, I'm still to this day amazed that MST3K didn't take a whack at the Citizen Kane Of Bad Movies.
Starcrash: Blatant, cheap-ass Star Wars ripoff from 1979, starring Marjoe Gortner. MARJOE GORTNER, f'cripesake.
Cat Women Of The Moon: Makes Fire Maidens Of Outer Space look like 2001.
Mars Needs Women: Tommy Kirk as a Martian, and Yvonne Craig, who looks as if she's getting ready for her Batgirl auditions (as her secret identity, Commissioner Gordon's daughter). Another sterling Larry Buchanan production.
House On Haunted Hill: Dopey, kitschy Agatha Christie ripoff from the early '60s starring Vincent Price. Ten years of MST3K, and they never did a single Vincent Price movie. Dear god, why?

R.O.T.O.R.
Thankfully Rifftrax did it.

They thought it was too easy at the time, which is why they didn't riff it. (What a shame, too). Actually, come to think of it, I'm surprised they didn't do a take on Glen or Glenda.

They should've gone the Coleman Francis route and did a bunch of Ed Woods. Night of the Ghouls was horrible and it had Tony Cardoza in it!

They should've gone the Coleman Francis route and did a bunch of Ed Woods. Night of the Ghouls was horrible and it had Tony Cardoza in it! As I recall, that's a sorta kinda sequel to Bride Of The Monster... got the same grumpy detective, the same dumb cop characters, even Tor Johnson reprising his sensitive portrayal of Lobo. And that villain -- "Dr. Acula?" Was he just jerking our chain or something, with that? As far as how many goes... they did 3 Ed Wood movies that I recall: Bride Of The Monster, The Violent Years and The Sinister Urge. I've always thought they could've ditched Time Of The Apes and Alien From L.A. to make room for another Ed Wood flick, or an old Vincent Price stinker, like The Abominable Dr. Phibes.Y'ever see Ed Wood's attempt at film noir, a 1954 stinkburger called Jail Bait? ...and no, it's not an exploitation flick. It's a stupid thing with hoods'n'guns'n'stuff. Timothy Farrell from Racket Girls is in it as one of the hoods, as is a slightly skinnier and younger Steve Reeves as a detective, Lyle Talbot as another detective, and Wood's squeeze Delores Fuller -- who's just sublimely awful -- as the protagonist's sister. More prime MST3K/Cinematic Titanic/RiffTrax fodder... and, it's in the public domain.
