I think it's terrible. I was going to go see it, buy the bluray, and the DVD. I have no great affinity for Seth Rogan but I support his right to make whatever movie he wants to make.

Saw it. Loved most of it. A few times the sexual/race baced jokes weren't needed, but the last half of the film was golden.
I'm hoping the original ending gets leaked, though.

i haven't seen this myself and i like Seth Rogan. Zack & Miri make a porno is easily my favorite film of his. and my brother works in a theatre. and they did end up showing this there. last time i spoke with him he hadn't seen it yet. i dunno if he is going to though. i am curious to see what the big deal is. but most of the people i've talked to said it was a shitty ass movie.

It's now playing at a $2 theater not far from me. It's not normally a movie I'd go see, but they way it was pulled, followed by what happened to Charlie Hebdo, made me want to go.
It was a decent, not great comedy. Rogen was fine, but I couldn't stand James Franco's over the top mugging.

a friend at work said it best about this film, over the way it was received, he said he'd LOVE IT if everyone in the US went to see it in the theatre and how that would piss the people who took offense to this movie off. and i love that idea but we all know that won't happen. i know what i posted above, but what i also meant to say is that some liked it and some said it was a piece of poopie. i'll prolly see it at some point though. i wonder like it's been said if the original ending will be leaked? or on the blu-ray? when it comes out this year.

Decent movie. Enjoyed it more than I thought I would, but nothing to get too crazy for. Rogan was...well, he was Rogen all right. Never thought he was a "comic genius" and this movie certainly didn't change my mind. James Franco, who I like more often than not, looked as if he was high on something and forgot where he was through half the movie. I think this movie needed more Lizzy Caplin, who was a great straightman to the duo and got the most laughs from me. I also quite enjoyed Randall Park, who played Kim Jong-un. The way he changed tones throughout the picture, from Franco's bromance blossom to ruthless dictator in less than ten seconds, was remarkable acting.
Considering all the controversy I was surprised at how the assassination plotline was seemingly abandoned about halfway through, favoring the "making God bleed" approach instead in an attempt to destroy his power. This was a wise move, and it makes the movie more thoughtful than it comes off in its advertisements. But it stumbles the wilder it attempts to get and the titular "interview" is a bit of a letdown as it kind of gets drowned out by a series of weak series of gags when the film writes itself into a corner.
It did give me one line I can say I had a healthy laugh at: "It was a gift to my grandfather from Stalin." "In my country it's pronounced 'Stallone.'"
