USPS delivered my copy of volume XXXII this afternoon and I assume others have started to get their copies, so I wanted to start this thread.
I'm settling down to watch the episodes right now but just wanted to say that the menu screen for San Francisco International is amazing!!

Glad somebody got theirs early enough to give us some insight! Good to hear about the menu screen for San Francisco International is great--one of my favorite episodes! Please keep us updated on the audio/video quality on these episodes too! I'm really, really hoping they're not too bad, cause these are some prime episodes that desperately need an upgrade from the fan copies I have! Thanks!

Michigan!
The other two episodes look great too.
I liked the Marooned extras the best. Frank's interview was good and so was the short doc about the film.
Two things I never noticed but caught because of the better audio and video: in Space Teavelers you can see Joel flipping thru his script during segment three, and in Hercules, Joel bring his bowl of Cap'n Ron cereal into the theater after the break.

Which companies did Shout Factory license the movies from? They should be listed on the bottom of the DVD set packaging.

I guess Shout Factory released it assuming it being Public Domain. Travis' list noted that the Italian rights holders restored their copyright on the film in the North American market. Similarly, Hercules and the Captive Women's copyright status was restored by its foreign rights holders, hence why its current owners, Beta Films GmbH of Germany, are listed on Volume XXIX. Shout Factory went the legitimate rout with them, rather than risk legal snafus.

Something strange is going on with my copy of XXXII, according to the tracking number it was supposed to arrive today but it's last location was Las Vegas, it was shipped out of Indianapolis and I live in Western Mass. Any ideas what is going on?

Something strange is going on with my copy of XXXII, according to the tracking number it was supposed to arrive today but it's last location was Las Vegas, it was shipped out of Indianapolis and I live in Western Mass. Any ideas what is going on? If it's in Vegas the postman detoured and BET ALL HIS MAIL ON BLACK! It was double-zero. ::rimshot:: But that sucks. Hopefully it'll be there tomorrow. As for me, mine arrived today. Didn't know I was getting more coasters, that was a mildly useless surprise. Lol. First thing I noticed was the NEW MENUS. I expected the same old CG animation, but...these are PUPPETS! Live action PUPPETS! I nerded out at first, then I studied the little skits and the puppets seemed a little off. The proportions on Crow's head seemed off and there were little oddities about Tom's body. I eventually realized these weren't full scale Tom and Crow puppets and they must have been much much smaller. But still these guys are pretty fun. Is this the new norm? Special features are breezy. Marooned (AKA Space Travelers) has got an intro by Frank, who sounds kind of uneasy that they riffed the film. He doesn't seem to like it all that much but is respectful of it and the talent that was behind it, but doesn't seem to think the film offered them too many opportunities. Also up is...not exactly a making of...more like a context setter for the film itself. The narrator pretty much puts the film into perspective and is apologetic of some of its weaknesses (he claims the slow pacing works if you're really, really into the movie...but that's like saying Monster A-Go-Go's ending isn't bothersome if you try really hard to ignore it). He briefly touches how Marooned ended up in Film Ventures catalog and in turn on MST, and is mostly accepting of the fact that it did actually end up on the show. There's also a trailer for the movie that shows off how inactive it is. Hercules has another intro by Frank which is bubbling with love for the movie. I don't blame him. Herc rocks. It's followed up by my favorite feature on the set, a brief documentary on Joseph E Levine, who not only ported over Hercules but the original Godzilla movie, turning the big goliath into an icon here in the States. The largest portion of this feature is actually about Godzilla, and Hercules is fairly brief. They also bring up Santa Claus Conquers the Martians (and some nobody of a movie called The Graduate, but like anybody wants to hear about THAT movie). FULL HERC PECS showed off in the trailer for the movie. Radar Secret Service comes up next, with an intro by (you guessed it!) Frank! Oddly this intro isn't noted on the case for this episode, but oh well. Frank talks about they initially loved the movie and wanted it so badly for the series but were denied the rights. Then months later they were able to obtain it, ended up watching it a second time and finding the movie a complete drag. He thinks the final episode turned out well (and with a short as damn good as Last Clear Chance it was always going to be a classic). Up next is something called MST-UK, where Trace and Frank take a trip to London to visit fans. It's the longest of the features, but it lost my interest about halfway through. Wrapping up the set is San Francisco International. This is the only episode of the bunch that doesn't have an intro by Frank, making it an odd duck. I guess there's not much you can say about this POS pilot movie. The only feature we get is a documentary on the history of Satellite News with Chris "Sampo in Name Only" Cornell (everyone here knows who the REAL Sampo is). Not to be confused with THIS Chris Cornell... Anyway, informative and nostalgic up the wazoo. Good feature. That's about it for the features. I'm about halfway through Space Travelers and haven't noticed any video flaws yet. I'll keep everyone updated.

Thanks Torgo! Please let us know about the "quality" of the video/audio when you get a chance.
@torgotega: I ordered my copy from Shout Factory a long time ago and got mine today (err, Thursday, that is) and that's the latest I've ever received mine. I usually get it on Monday or Tuesday--I've even gotten it as early as the Friday or Saturday before the week that I'm supposed to get it. I know that everything I order from them comes out of Indiana & Kentucky and I'm in the south--and the insane winter weather could very well be a reason for some of the delays... Mine shipped out Monday, the 23rd from Indianapolis and I got mine Thursday, the 26th--so that's a little longer than normal. Usually I get things about 1-2 business days. I dunno... I guess the point is, I got mine considerably later than I usually get it, but I can't watch mine till this weekend, so no harm done for me.

I look forward to seeing these menus. Maybe they made molds off those limited edition Tom and Crow statues made in the 90's? They were on the small side. Would be cool if they joined by a puppet Joel or Mike, done Supermarionation style.

Got mine yesterday. The menus are nifty (must've shot them around the time of the Turkey Day marathon).

Boy I forgot how hilarious Radar Secret Service's stinger was. That maid cracks me up every single time.
For those who want VIDEO TRANSFERS NOW, the good news is I never noticed any huge flaws. The first three episodes all looked clean. San Francisco International had a few problem shots, but I'd call it 99.8% solid. Overall it was a great set video wise.
Now to count the days until July/August for the next set. Or June, if Shout does the month early thing again.
