I need to give it another try. I too couldn't get past the captain's voice and how slow it started. Watching on my ipad didn't help either. I need to get Chromecast I reckon.

I really enjoyed it. I thought the casting of the captain was very good for the tone of the show. My favorite character is Karen played by Bess Rous. Joel and Trace are very funny, although I wish they were in the show even more. My favorite moment from the show is when Joel and Trace are watching the hidden cameras. A solid start, let's hope a second season can expand on these characters and give us more Joel and Trace!

Yeah, after watching all the episodes I also really enjoyed it! Joel and Trace were awesome, and I hope to see a second season.

Just finished the whole season today. Just echoing the previous posts - really ended up liking it a lot, and hope we get a 2nd season.

I haven't been on the boards in foreverrrr, but I wanted to log back in just to talk about this show.
I binge watched the whole thing in one sitting the day it came out. I went into it biased, because of Joel and Trace, but I was actually more concerned it would suck, it didn't look like it would be good so I had low expectations.
I loved it. Paul Feig is really good at creating awesome stuff, and I should have known to trust this man.
Favorite things: -Women on the cast that are actually allowed to be funny, and not have to play the straight man. Thank god for that. As a woman in improv, I am glad they have a cast like this, ESPECIALLY, that they used improvisors for a lot of the cast. -Neil Casey. He was my favorite to watch, so fun, awesome performance. -Dave Franco. Enough said, that was a brilliant episode. -Actual clever, new ideas. Some comedy scripts are played out, how many different ways can you tell the same joke? This went to new places in creative ways. The planet where time moved slower, one great example of something fresh. -Joel as a jumpsuit wearing space janitor.. yes. -Trace as a robot again, finally. My childhood dreams have come true.
If you guys liked it, reach out to Yahoo Screen and let them know, it's the best way to help get a second season made. I feel like an advertisement, but I get excited when I find something that is actually new, and good.

The show totally knocked it out of the park for me, it made me laugh, it made me squeel. It's hard not to smile when Joel & Trace are onscreen (Art is f*cking awesome). I found every character hilarious and the writing superb! Paul Feig has created another masterpiece.
I've become addicted to Other Space, if we don't get a second season... I'll die.

The planet where time moved slower, one great example of something fresh. Heh. Actually, Farscape did this.

I've just binged on the season; it clicked around episode 5 for me, very funny once I got into it. A bit rough around the edges in places, and lots of recycled stuff from other shows and movies, but the characters carry it. Certainly deserves a second season.

I'm in for season two. I thought it was great, including Karan Soni. Paul Feig just knows what I like.

I loved the whole first season and it was done with the proper twisted sense of humor and the first season ending was great .

I'm glad you bumped this crowschmo as I must have missed the thread completely. I have no idea what Yahoo Screen even is, but now I'll be looking into it ....

Well that's that. Guess we'll never see a DVD release either.

Does anyone have copies, or will the whole show be lost?

Well that's that. Guess we'll never see a DVD release either. Wow. Ouch. I know that's not that much in Hollywood money terms, but that's not good. Community was once great, but it's probably time that got put to bed. Other Space still had some left to give, though, in my opinion, so it's definitely sad.
