There is no point in getting flustered over people hating your episode. There are many who cannot take the horribleness of Alien from LA, not only is the setting horrifying but the acting is so atrocious, it's an assault to the senses. I have to accept that people just find Deadly Bees to be a forgettable episode while I consider it #2 on my favorite episode list, it's just the way things are.
On the subject of episodes I use to hate but now watch occasionally, I'd have to throw in Master Ninja II. I think it was just more of how the two episodes had literally nothing to do with each other, yet they still mashed them together. After a moment, though, I learned to love it. I still like Master Ninja I better though.

oh trust me, i'm not rattled by people disliking the episode, one of my favorites "terror from the year 5000" is... also not well received. i just think it's interesting how the movie always seems to be at the top of "most unwatchable movies" when it seems like a pretty easy watch to me.
i wouldn't say i ever hated it, but i recall not being a big fan of "last of the wild horses". i felt the riffing was really spotty and the movie was borderline unwatchable. i still think the movie is kind of a slog, but it's more competent than i remembered it being. and the riffing is pretty damn good. i don't think it'll ever be one i'm dying to rewatch, but i definitely undersold it.

Well, if I may resurrect an old thread with a few new developments, this has actually happened quite a few times since my initial post.
I think one episode that finally broke down and made me love it more was Hamlet. Yes, many will hate it and rightfully so. I hated it at first and it was even on one of my VHS's (along with the Thing that Couldn't Die and Final Justice, so it got some VCR time). Now, I have gotten my English Bachelors degree and have been through no less than 3 Shakespeare classes and I can comfortably say that this episode has finally given me pause and I can actually enjoy it. It is strange, it's almost like I actually "matured" in my 30's. hehehe as if
Alright, next one is a surprising one, but I wasn't big on Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. Yes, wielders of pitchforks, I know. Then, just out of nowhere, I put it on along with other Christmas episodes and I start laughing my ass off at Droppo. I mean, DROPPO of all people! Then Voldar became charming and relatable and I just went blind, apparently! Then the Rifftrax Live episode of this movie kind of sealed the deal and it's officially on my Christmas list.
Strange what the years can do to someone...
