i'm 4 episodes in and i can pick jonah's voice out now. i think the big issue with baron's servo is how he's kind of all over the place. when he's just delivering a line normally i know it's him immediately but he seems to be doing way more voices (impressions, singing, etc.) than either jonah or hampton. i think that might be the reason why others are having difficulty telling them all apart, combined with the way they recorded the riffs and silhouettes separately (which makes it all feel disconnected).

Hampton is doing a great job as Crow. He's like a cross between Trace and Bill, but yet has made the character his own. I find myself laughing the most at his jokes, could be the delivery. Jonah and Servo are fine. Not liking Gypsy at this point, I wish the voice was a little less just like some woman talking. (Nothing against Rebecca, of course). How did they not realized after taping the first episode that Gypsy's voice wasn't working. There is nothing to it, no comical timing, no comical inflection, nothing that distinguishes it from your friends mother on the phone. I REALLY miss her old voice - as grating as it was. It was always delivered with a "i'm in charge" tone you couldn't mistake. And what is she doing now, anyway. The ship is stationary and linked to the dark side of the moon. Does she even have a purpose on the SOL right now? Also, I'm not liking Pearl's clone at all. It seems unnecessary and frankly, odd. Is she a robot or a clone? She can't seem to decide from one scene to another.

Baron Vaughn's show that he co-created and co-hosts, "The New Negroes", has been picked up to series by Comedy Central.
With this and "Grace and Frankie", makes me wonder what exactly his availability will be...

The New Negroes looks like it will be a standup showcase, so it probably won't be Super time consuming.

Also, if they still write the riffs alone in a Google Doc and record the riffs alone in a booth while other puppeteers move the Bots...it takes much less time apparently (I would argue about the final results).
