I spent an hour tonight trying to search the internet for any mention of beer being called something like "towski".
Brewski I know, but I've never heard beer called anything like "towski" except on MST3K.
Am I spelling it wrong? Anyone know the etymology? Did the Brains just make up the term?
Thanks!

At least two. In the first appearance of the Observers, ep. 805, The Thing That Couldn't Die, when we first meet the Observers, Mike says to them, "Hey, who's that in the back there grabbin' a towski?", referring to Pearl. Who I believe then asks the Brain Guys for a church key/bottle opener.
In another, ep.913, Quest of the Delta Knights, when Mike, Bobo, and Brain Guy are drinking and having sort of a Guy's Night Out, Mike asks Bobo to hand him another "towski". (Mike, dude, there's a bottle of 12-year old Glenlivet on the table, really?)

Doubtful. That brewery wasn't around in the 90s. Maybe someone on staff was a fan of Tyskie Gronie beer. That's my best guess so far but I'm still looking into it.

No, it's pronounced like "now" or "bow wow"-ski.

One of the slangs for beer is brewtowski. They shortened the slang. I've heard it here and there. Might be more prevalent in Minnesota but that wasn't my impression.

Well I'll be damned. Brewtowski. I've never heard that before. That explains it! Thank you!
