Chalk this up to something I probably would have never noticed in tape trading copies but only due to the clearer image of an official DVD, but toward the end of Being from Another Planet, the girl Jane is taking a shower and is attacked by the mummy. After the incident she is cowering in relief hugging her chest. But in a brief moment she reveals the entirety of her right breast. Given the VHS source of the movie and the fact that Servo's head is almost (not quite) in the way, it's hard to make out if any nipple is seen.
Luckily Shout Factory found it necessary to release the uncut movie alongside the MST version, making for a quick comparison. Bare in mind THIS WAS ENTIRELY FOR RESEARCH PURPOSES AND VERY IMPORTANT RESEARCH AT THAT that I made a quest to stare at this woman's breast and in the much clearer image it is very plainly seen that she does reveal her nipple. Wondering if perhaps the image was blurred for television or if Servo's head hid more than I realized, I went back to the episode. I think I can say without a shadow of a doubt that for barely a second a nipple was on MST. It's dark VHS master makes it difficult to make out, but it's there.

I don't have the official DVD yet (I will soon), but yeah, you can't see much of anything in that scene in home copies.
Speaking of accidental nudity in MST3K there is that one weird scene in The Creeping Terror where a guy rips a girl's shirt off in a fight that takes place just as the Creeping Terror attacks a dance hall. It looks like the guy rips off her entire top and for a second the girl's breast is exposed without censoring on the show.

It's been awhile since I've seen the mst3k episode, but I seem to recall there's an added blur In that shower scene to cover the exposure, similar (but not as noticeable) as the blurring added to the dancers in Final Justice. Presumably the "uncut" version wouldn't have this blur.

Interesting. The last time I watched it was on YouTube, so maybe it was just that the quality was so poor that I couldn't tell.
Unless it was a case like The Girl in Gold Boots, where the broadcast version was censored (removing the shot of the lead smoking pot), while the DVD release was uncensored.

It's possible that the episode was censored on just Youtube. I think Youtube tries their best to take down sexually explicit content.

It's possible that the episode was censored on just Youtube. I think Youtube tries their best to take down sexually explicit content. A blurry nipple falls under sexually explicit? Only in America. |

I've mentioned this once before, but in "Cave Dwellers" (301) the character Mila walks around in this miniskirt fur outfit, and during one of the fight scenes, there's a moment where she kicks someone, and you can kinda see up her skirt, and it really looks like she's going commando under there (although someone told me she might just be wearing flesh-colored underwear).

It's been a while since I watched it, but, I think it's Sidehackers that has a scene where a character has pictures of naked (or half naked) women on the wall behind him. Does anyone remember this?

There's no blur on the MST version. For a second I thought you meant in Final Justice, and I was really confused. There's some definite blurring in that. Being From Another Planet, meanwhile, is one I can't comment on regarding blurriness. |

I heartily endorse this research. For science.
BTW, what is this about a VHS master? The screeners the Brains used to pick their movies were on VHS, but once selected, the distributor would send a copy to them on a professional broadcast format.
