euphoriafish: you realize that you can find DVD-recorders on Amazon that you can use to burn your tapes to DVD. I've owned one for years, but when it died I had to buy used/reconditioned because nobody was making them anymore. You may find it's not too much to spend to get the job done--of course, you have to record them "live," so you might use the occasion to watch each episode as you record them!

Definitely! One of these days I want to invest in one of those combo player recorders AND use the occasion to watch all my old tapes again. Thanks.

One thing I'd love to get hold of is a collection of the Mystery Science Theater Hour with Mike playing Jack Perkins. If you've got any of those, let me know!
