I may very well pick this set up just for a better quality copy of MERLIN'S SHOP OF MYSTICAL WONDERS!

3/4 episodes I've never seen, all of which are must-sees for me, and this set should complete my season 10 collection since I have a fan-copy of Diabolik.

While none of the episodes are favorites they are all good, solid episodes, so I will probably pick up this set to get (hopefully) better prints and to replace my fading Rhino version.

While some moan about it being an all Mike volume, every episode here is excellent in my opinion. The key thing about volume 5 is that every movie is fun enough to watch on their own, so they don't hurt THAT much. The Touch of Satan, Time Chasers, Boggy Creek II and Merlin's Shop are bad movies, but they all have likable stupid characters, great stupid quotes and some really funny bad movie moments. It also helps that they all have plots that you can follow and deal in some really funny mystical or time bending stories. Also helps that it is a 70s/80s set of movies.

This re-release also bodes well for a VOD release of Boggy Creek II, which is the only episode from this set that does not yet have a streaming option available.

Did this set include the Mike intros and interview from the Rhino edition?
I pre-ordered from Amazon so I didn't get a early copy, but I haven't heard anything about the extras yet.

To be fair, Hercules Against the Moon Men had a slate card that only stayed for 2 seconds and turned black. Secret Agent Super Dragon had a slate card that only flashed briefly with no voice over. So those 2 episodes having no slate cards doesn't sound uncommon.
On the bright side, though, at least we'll have the Teenagers from Outer Space one.
