I haven't backed many, I admit. Though I *have* seriously considered supporting a number of people on Patreon.

I've backed Bring Back MST3K, the 2014, 2016, and 2017 Rifftrax Live shows, Manos Returns, Celluloid Wizards, Shallow Water, Evil Dead 2 the Board Game, Beasts of the Mesozoic Raptor Series, a few indie comics, and a couple of other projects.
I've also been a Patreon with ICWXP since January 2016.
Kickstarter makes it easy to support projects, and it's always neat to get cool rewards, tho almost all of the projects I've back are late with the fulfillment. Rifftrax is the only Kickstarters that I've backed to have fully finish their promises so far.
But so far the only Kickstarter I've regretted is a documentary called Kaiju Gaiden, which was funded in 2014, has never sent me any rewards, and the creator has gotten into fights with his partners who claim he ran off with the money and got married with it. And the doc never was finished. The most we ever saw was a crappy little trailer. There went thirty bucks.
