I recently started using Roku and I noticed today on Pluto there is a channel I never saw before. The MST3k channel. A quick google check and it says that shout TV has created a 24/7 MST3k channel. I hadn't heard about it anywhere until I came across it today. Did I miss the announcement or something? I knew you could get it on the web but not on a free service like Pluto.

Yeah, I put that on every now and then when I'm feeling too lazy to pull out my MST3K DVDs and plop one in the Blu-Ray player. If you don't mind the commercials that they throw in there, it's pretty nice.
I think that the channel was created right around the time that Joel started the MST3K relaunch KS, as I first heard about it there. I don't remember there being a big announcement other than that.

I put a thread up on the Deep 13 News Board a couple of years ago. The title of the thread might've thrown you off, easy to not notice.

It is pretty handy and their selection is pretty good. I've enjoyed it.

Pluto TV was just purchased by Viacom. Hopefully this doesn’t mean big changes are coming.

Pluto TV has been an interesting streaming alternative. I've enjoyed it, the MST3K and Rifftrax channels have been great. I agree, hopefully Viacom doesn't switch it up too much. www.engadget.com/2019/01/23/viacom-buys-pluto-tv/"As for Pluto TV, it will operate as an independent subsidiary under its new owner, with its co-founder Tom Ryan continuing as CEO." That's probably a good sign that things shouldn't change too much, at least not right away.
