I saw a interview where Joel mentioned they intend to cover how Tom and Crow got back to the Satellite in season 2. So, Assuming that Season 12 happens, what movies do you hope to see? I know Mighty Jack did a series of articles on possible seasons a long time ago, but it appears those articles did not join him in his migration to blogspot. The One genre I felt was missing from Season 11 was a Japanese Sci-Fi film. I would love to see the take on The X From Outer Space! www.imdb.com/title/tt0062411/Also, the Sc-FI Channel aired a Movie called The Guyver from 1991 a long time ago I think would fit in well with the new aesthetic. www.imdb.com/title/tt0101988/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

I'm not big on requesting titles, I trust the show to find them for me. What I will say is now that you've taken an entire season to establish the HD look don't limit yourself to just a movie that "looks good." I like seeing a wide variety of movies on the show, and I'd especially like to see black and white films make their comeback.
Oh and more Hercules plz.

Agree they could throw in a B/W film or two without viewers leaving to never come back. Shame that they won't use anything non-HD. I bet there are many more Master Ninja, Riding with Death, and SST Death Flights out there that would be perfect.

I would kill for "Frankenstein's Daughter"
Oh, and "Invisible Invaders" with the John's (Agar and Carradine)

I'd like to see some terrible black and white propaganda films get the Mst3k treatment.
Also, and this is probably never going to happen, Toho's Atragon or Space Amoeba!

With Shout and Netflix on board, maybe they can get a film they want scanned in HD if a print is available? Many a bad tv movie was shot and edited on film. All of Universal's movie edit mash ups of short lived series episodes as well. I'd love it if they somehow got their hands on "The Horror at 37,000 Feet". It's the perfect length for the show, and the cast list alone would make the bot's heads explode.

I'm continuing to hope Shout will someday buy out the North American distribution rights for Gamera movies, so we can get Viras, Jiger, and Super Monster Gamera on MST.
Looking at MGM titles Shout Factory already has access to, I wouldn't mind seeing Alienator and Angry Red Planet in Season 12. I suppose The People That Time Forgot could happen to finish off that McClure monster series (minus War Lords of Atlantis, since the rights are scrambled with that one), but there's probably better material to riff on out there.

I'm not aware of any Blu-ray release of that film. Cry Wilderness was provided by Vinegar Syndrome. They didn't release the movie to Blu-ray since it's not hot title, but they had HD masters for it already. Now that it's relevant, I wouldn't be surprised if they did release it to Blu-ray later. I mean, they're the ones who released Hobgoblins to Blu-ray, for crying out loud.

I realize the show hasn't even been out a week yet but.....What has been the "pattern", so to speak, from Netflix about announcing whether or not a show has been picked up for another season or cancelled? How long does it typically take for a decision like that from them? Is there a pattern?
Again I realize they wouldn't announce anything like that yet, I'm just wondering when something like might happen.

We live in a world where Hobgoblins is on Blu Ray, and the original unaltered Star Wars trilogy isn't. I'll be in the corner sobbing.

I think the fastest I've seen them renew is probably about a month, when Daredevil got renewed for a second season. I think a third season of Fuller House was picked up almost as quickly as well. But there are contributing factors, like whether the people making the show are ready to announce another season or save it for a special occasion like Comic-Con. It's also not uncommon for a season to be released more than a year after the first, or in best case scenario a little less than a year.

I honestly think they should to-do some of the better Season 1 movies: Robot Holocaust, Moon Zero Two, Women of the Prehistoric Planet, etc.
I know the Brains bemoaned on one occasion that they would've preferred to do some of them under better circumstances.
