I would hope that they'd proceed with Season 12. I view Season 11 as something of a shakedown cruise for the new cast & crew. So, now that they've all settled in, it'd be a shame to just end it again.

So, now that they've all settled in, it'd be a shame to just end it again. It would be kinda awkward if the this revival series didn't at least have one more season. In my mind if it were to get cancelled right now, it would basically just go down as a weird almost pointless footnote in the history of the show.

Canceled doesn't necessarily mean over. Even if Netflix chose not to renew, there are tons of other channels and platforms that could pick the show up.

Maybe Hulu could work.

The downside to Hulu is it doesn't have international distribution like Netflix and Amazon do.

I'd feel kind of bad for Jonah, but he would always have the distinction of being the George Lazenby of SOL captives, which is neat in a $2000 Jeopardy question sort of way.

Well, at this point I think Amazon would be the last resort if Netflix didn't renew. I can't imagine the new series being on FOX or MTV or god forbid maybe even adult swim.

I feel like if it doesn't get renewed at Netflix, it's not going to picked up by another streaming outlet (and probably would be dead altogether). I think it would just be considered a "failed experiment" at that point, and I don't think anyone else is going to want it.
I feel bad for Joel for the timing on everything - they signed on to Netflix while they were still in their "Everything gets a 2nd season!" phase and it seemed like a no-brainer, but it's facing renewal right at the time when Netflix is getting a lot more cautious about renewals and is starting to cancel a lot more.
I'm not ready to call it dead yet, but the waiting to hear one way or another is excruciating.

I guess we'll just find out in the not too distant future....

It's worth nothing that this coming week will be the last of the live tour. Could be they're waiting until it finishes to make an announcement.

Today was the last day for Netflix to renew. Not officially a cancellation, just a lack of renewing. If nothing is signed/announced by tomorrow, most assume Joel and Co. are now free to shop the show around. Netflix could always come back with an offer, but there's now no time limit for them to do so.

It's also possible that a deal has been reached, but it won't be announced to the public until a set time.

Last update (like, a week ago?) Joel seemed optimistic-ish: basically said he's not allowed to say anything. Also said that the live tour served to make everyone more comfortable working together after the draconianly brief shooting schedule of Season 11.

Netflix is really dumb for not renewing the show already. It should have been renewed back in May
I think Amazon Video would be the next best choice since they have a lot of RiffTrax shows on there.
I heard there was some interest from the Syfy Channel for Season 11 as well
