For me, Sidehackers, The Gamera and Godzilla movies, Zombie Nightmare, Wild Rebels, Escape 2000, It Conqured the World, Bloodlust, The Violent Years, I Accuse My Parents, just to name a few. I totally agree with you on Bloodlust! and I Accuse My Parents. I'm not sure how I forgot those in my list. Sidehackers though... I mean, it's far from being the worst film ever featured on the show, I'll give you that. At least Sidehackers has a more smooth plot you can follow unlike Hellcats where half the movie is just a bunch of biker hippies getting high and drunk.

Movie wise, probably vise versa.

As a movie, Sidehackers is definitely the best of the three biker movies on the show. Depends on what you consider important in a film. Sidehackers may be miles more coherent than Hellcats, but it's way more reprehensible. All three of the biker films had idiot characterizations, but Hellcats was the only one that seemed to revel in it. Unbelievably, Hellcats had a plot, but it was poorly established and the big long plot point of Monty and Dee Duffy infiltrating the Hellcats lost its focus constantly. It was also so poorly established that it's conceivable for a viewer to have no idea that that's what they were doing. But Sidehackers, the full movie that hadn't been butchered in order to make it broadcast-worthy for MST3k, with all its rape, torture, women-beating and nihilism was truly disgusting.

I would love to know by what criteria From Hell It Came was judged and ultimately rejected.
It's been eons since I've seen this pic, but I can't imagine it being worse than The Slime People, The Blood Waters of Dr. Z, The Horror of Party Beach, or other monster suit movies that somehow passed the Brains' rigorous testing.

I like a lot of films on MST3K. Some genre fans get hung up on them making fun of 'their' movies, but personally I think MST3K always comes from a place of silliness and good nature, rather than one of snarkiness and condescension. If it weren't for MST3K people would be unfamiliar with Coleman Francis and Manos - they've added to film history rather than covering it up with jokes! If it weren't for MST3K I wouldn't know anything about old Russian fantasy films, Italian sword-and-sandal movies, the juvenile delinquent and biker sub-genre, educational/instructional/propaganda shorts... diving into MST3K means getting a lesson in film history that all orthodox film history leaves out!
As for what movies I like: the Russian fantasy films are straight-up awesome (and I'd certainly get a Blu-Ray box set of 'em unriffed if you offered Shout Factory!), all the kaiju movies they did (though I still attend that the biggest sin the old Gameras commit is that they're so padded), Mexican Santa Claus, Black Scorpion, Teenagers From Outer Space has an underlying sweetness that makes it very endearing...
I admire the ambition a lot of these films have. Boring the audience is the worst thing you can do. Time Chasers is extremely ambitious and I'm not at all bored by it. I even think the Time Travel mostly makes sense in it!

I thought Soultaker was pretty good, it had an interesting premise, and most of the acting wasn't that bad, I also believe that Teenage Strangler was pretty good for a non professional cast and crew. I like both I Accuse My Parents and The Final Sacrifice, of the movies that have been mentioned already.

"Phase 4" is a good film imo. They sceened it in London several months ago with the extended ending but unfortunately I wasn't able to attend.

It almost goes without saying, but I really like This Island Earth. It's considered classic sci-fi for a reason, after all (Dr. Forrester probably cut it a bit to make it worse, at least that's my head canon.)
Also, it's weird, but I'm a fan of Radar Men From The Moon. It's a product of its time but the special effects really are impressive when you think about them.
Oh, and I've got a soft spot for Quest of the Delta Knights. It's not a cinematic masterpiece, but it has its charm.

There are plenty which are alright, but here, in no significant order, are those which I think deserve special mention,
It Conquered the World
I used to watch this one when I was a kid. The special effects and locations are the downright Corman, but it has a good premise and character development — something that can be said about quite a few movies which Corman directed, actually. The guy was a real miser of a director who obviously favored quantity over quality, but he did get some decent scripts during his time.
Earth Vs Soup The Spider
Also watched this one as a kid. I really don't think there's anything wrong with it, cinematically speaking. Certainly not on the same level as The Blob, for example, but not at all unwatchable sans riffing.
Tormented This Island Earth
Been talked–about already, and I pretty much agree, so there's no need for me to rehash.
The Deadly Bees
The pacing is very slow, but the overall quality and plot are decent.
Phase IV
Hey, who doesn't like a movie with a super-intelligent ant hive? It's been a while since I saw this one, but I don't recall that they give–in to many cinematic shortcuts with the behavior of the ants — it's the hive that is intelligent, not the individual ants themselves — and the end is rather trippy.
Gamera et al. Godzilla et al.
I think I watched maybe one other Gamera which they didn't do, and I've seen many Godzilla movies including some of the more recent rebirths. The newer ones tend to be loaded with scientific exposition and investigation more than the older ones. On the whole, I think the Japanese Monster Mythoi are enjoyable even if you aren't a diehard fan. 'Course, I feel much the same about the Marvel and DC universes…
Robot Monster
I don't think I'd be able to sit through it without Joel & the Bots to keep me company; the guy in the alien's costume doesn't do a convincing portrayal and the cinematography is lackluster — well, the end gets bizarre, but this would certainly be one to end the night at the drive-in. However, I really do like the writing for the alien: it is spot–on. Seems, though, that such is enough to earn it a mention here.
Overdrawn at the Memory Bank
I did save this one for last. I really should say more about this one. Yes, it's got that wonderful lack of self-consciousness about its meager, public television, budget; the riffing is right at home here — don't get me wrong. But, I must say that, script and other foibles aside, I really do like the story. Maybe someday I'll write one inspired by it. I would also say that I have not yet done so because there's little, plot-wise, which I really thought needed much improvement — compare to my premise inspired by watching Soultaker, which I am outlining and writing between other projects.

It almost goes without saying, but I really like This Island Earth. It's considered classic sci-fi for a reason, after all (Dr. Forrester probably cut it a bit to make it worse, at least that's my head canon.) I know they cut a bit from the movie, but I don't believe it was anything that made the movie worse, in the sense that it made the plot not make sense or have characterizations jump around without purpose, etc. The thing that I think makes This Island Earth considered a "classic" is how gorgeous it looked for a SciFi movie in 1955. Take a look at the average SciFi movie made in 1955, even limiting it to just color movies, and This Island Earth just looks tremendous. I can imagine it blowing away audiences similar to how, say, Star Wars did with its special effects. The shallow plot that didn't really lead anywhere or the weak characterizations or the dropped subplots didn't make a dent in how exhilarating a viewing experience it was for the audience then. You can watch forty years later when MST3k riffed it and not appreciate the context of someone watching it when it was brand new. At least, that's the way I read it.
