I watched "Living With Yourself" with Paul Rudd and "Daybreak", yet another apocalypse themed show based on yet another graphic novel.
Living With Yourself was so-so, the premise is good but it's kind of slow moving and everyone involved just seems like they are phoning it in.
Daybreak is kind of so-so as well, but I like it for the most part. It has an interesting way of telling the story. Could be pretty good if it picks up. (It had a reveal I saw coming a mile away).

I wish they would hurry up and put the 4th season of Better Call Saul on there. I stupidly didn't watch it when it was on AMC. Now you have to pay for it on AMC's On Demand. That's not fair. You're already PAYING for the damn channel, they should just let you watch their shows like you could watch any HBO or Showtime show any time you damn well want. What the hell do they care if you already have their channel and you want to watch things at your own pace? Crooks, that's what they are.
As for Netflix, I know it might not be up to them, it's probably AMC that dictates when the seasons start, but it's stupid to wait until the last few weeks before Season 5 starts. If it was on sooner, people would probably watch it TWICE rather than binge watching it just the once right before the new season starts. They would watch it leisurely sooner, then probably binge watch it again to refresh their memories.
I really should decide these things. Not them. I'd be better at it.

Watched the movie Train to Busan. It's another zombie flick. This one's from South Korea. I watched the version with English subtitles. I think there's a dubbed one in there, too, not sure.
It was a good movie for what it is. Pretty much the same schtick as others: People going about their every day lives. For some reason, the dead start coming back and attacking people. People must run away. You know the deal.

Watched the first season of Black Summer. Yet ANOTHER zombie series. Pretty boring. Not much happening except people driving and running. Acting not that great. Didn't care about the characters.

Watched V Wars with the poor man's Rob Lowe - Ian Somerhalder. Now it's vampires, not zombies. Can show creators come up with anything new? Apparently not. Acting not great, barely a plot, characters - eh. The way they ended it, though, I do want to see what happens next season. I have the channel, I might as well watch.

Watched the series Hemlock Grove. One more weird show. Are there any normal shows on Netflix? This one has a werewolf and a vampire. But the vampire is called an "upir" which is the Ukrainian version.
This one was only 3 seasons, so I watched it over the course of a few days. Kind of dull. They changed the characters too much from the first season to the third. The mother Upir was supposed to be a dangerous threat in the first season and she was kind of comic relief in the third.
There just wasn't much story and the two mains didn't really interact enough in the third, they had their own separate stories before reconnecting and the werewolf's story was just boring as hell.
Bill Skarsgard (Pennywise from It) was a good vampire, but not much to work with.

^^^^ Well, I watched it. Nothing to write home about. It has potential, but it kind of focused on the other characters rather than Geralt - you know, THE WITCHER. Not enough happened to justify a series. I've never read the book or played the game, so those might be better.

Watched the second season of Lost In Space. Eh. I don't know why they bothered to call it Lost In Space, any resemblance to the original TV show is minimal at best. Not just one family going from planet to planet and having adventures. Lots of people. Same problems day after day and they take all season to solve them. Don't care about the characters. Why is the father even there? He's pretty useless. So is Don - just comic relief. (And not GOOD comic relief).
The kid who plays Will does okay, acting wise. There's quite a bit of improvement from last season to this season. But they don't give him enough to work with. He just looks at the robot all sad and whatnot.
And how the hell did that spacesuit fit him so well seven months after they got lost? He's GROWING.
And why the hell is Smith allowed to just walk around everywhere and get access to everything and why is anyone LISTENING to her?
Just like Bill Mumy had a cameo as the REAL Dr. Smith whose identity Parker Posey's character steals, Angela Cartwright has a cameo in a flashback as Posey's mother.

I watched the three episode Dracula. Holy crap, that was - crap. They needn't have bothered. It was pretty stupid.
BTW: (After seeing Lost in Space) I don't know about Parker Posey's acting chops, but if she is any good (can't really judge by this show) does anyone else think that if a biopic about Katherine Hepburn was ever done she should play her? She has that downward turning mouth - I was watching "That's Entertainment" (I, II & III) on Turner Classic Movies and when they showed Hepburn, Parker came to mind.

I watched the series After Life with Ricky Gervais. Not bad, I liked it. It's about a man trying to get on with his life after his wife dies of cancer. Mostly drama about just coping with grief, with some humor thrown in.
