So... I only have very sporadic knowledge of Channel Awesome, and nearly all of it relates to The Nostalgia Critic. Having said that... wow, this is harsh. From what I'm hearing, the environment was unpleasant a lot of the time and downright hostile at others for any creator who wasn't Doug Walker. A few notes about sexual misconduct too, upping it from hostile to dangerous. Doug has criticisms aimed at him as well, though mostly in the "didn't listen to other people's creative input" and "always got the best time slots for video releases" and "got to speak on business matters even though he was just a creator" kind of thing (having said that, I've not gotten around to reading the reportedly lengthy grievances document yet.) And now they're saying that in addition to all of the creators who left Channel Awesome in the last two-ish weeks, Doug Walker's left as well, though little word on if it's a "for solidarity" thing or a "get off this sinking ship" thing (or a combination, really...). So, uh... I don't know all the details yet, but this feels like a notable thing for stuff that gets watched on the Net? Also a post on Atop The Fourth Wall from Linkara about his departure. Doesn't say a huge amount, but it does put out some of the complicated emotions and scenarios for the various creators involved.

I have some opinions on this but can't go into too much detail at the moment. But here's the stream read-through that helped the Not So Awesome document explode.
He also read through Channel Awesome's Our Response post. I think he overlooks several points in it, but it's also worth a look.
I will say I side more with the producers than I do Channel Awesome. For starters, if you thoroughly read the document a lot of CA's "defenses" are actually repetitions of what is said in the documents, rewording them to make the producers sound like liars or whiney children, even though some of the points they pick and choose are references of context and not actual grievances.
For the record, of everything I know about Linkara, the fact that he's a part of the disgruntled producers increases their validity tenfold.

Man if you can't trust Melvin the Brother of the Joker who can you trust?
but in all seriousness yeah this is worse than I was expecting. They've lost almost all of their producers, sponsors like the Black Tux have left them, convention appearances have been cancelled, and they got rid of their forums. What a way to celebrate a 10th anniversary.........................but hey you can still buy their Batman Forever Rifftrax!

Speaking of the Batman Forever riff, at the beginning of that Mike states to them "I will destroy you all." Perhaps this is Mike's lengthy infiltrating retaliation finally taking affect.

I think the worst part of all is how, in a bungled attempt to cover their own asses, Channel Awesome's higher ups outed Jew Wario (who committed suicide four years ago) as the sexual predator referred to in one of the anonymous sections of the document. MarzGurl and Pat the NES Punk in particular were pretty horrified about that news and the ramifications of no one being told about it while he was still alive.

Marzgurl does note that she found out about JewWario when they interviewed Jane Doe for the document. However she's just as disgusted that Channel Awesome pretty much put JewWario out in the open and put his victims at the risk of being harassed by angry fans.
This video is more reason why I believe those in the document, because I can hear the heartbreak in her voice and see the tears in her eyes. This is genuine. Everything out of Channel Awesome has been sterile and emotionless.
I won't pretend I know anything about JewWario because I've never watched any of his videos, so I view this as a distant onlooker, but I can definitely feel the betrayal in the people reacting to this news.
However those who claim that Channel Awesome/Mike Michaud knew the information they put forth would out JewWario to direct attention away from them I have to say I'm not so sure. This feels more like negligence and stupidity to me.

I think why people consider the outing intentional is because the dated timestamps guaranteed that someone would quickly figure out just who the predator was. (I have to admit to having had more than a little bit of concern that Spoony, who has long suffered from some pretty debilitating personal issues that a ton of people have shrugged off as "laziness", would be the one outed.)
