Rest in Peace Bandit (February 11, 1936 – September 6, 2018). Keep the shinny side up and the dirty side down. Catch you on the flip flop someday. Give ole Buford T. Justice some holy heck up there. Say hello to Jerry Reed while you're at it... Eastbound and Down

Just dug out my Longest Yard DVD and watched it in his honor. Listened to his autobiography audiobook a while back and enjoyed it. Quite a different person than his Hollywood image. RIP Burt.

Ah, that sucks. He could be so good, even when he didn't realize it. I heard he hated Boogie Nights, and I think he's excellent in that. Deliverance, of course. Bandit, Stroker Ace. There were fun days back in those movie times. Cannonball Run! I think Switching Channels is hilarious. I said it. Right time, right humor vein for me, I guess.
Rest well, sir.

Were the Cannonball Run movies the first time that outtakes were shown? I remember those, they were funny.

Were the Cannonball Run movies the first time that outtakes were shown? I remember those, they were funny. I'm not sure who did it first, but if the Cannonball Run movies were your thing, they were some of the best. You could tell they were genuinely having fun making some ridiculous movies. The second half of that video features the CBRII credits, which features the theme song of the movie. "Like a Cannonball" by Menudo!
