I work at a radio station on the weekends, and I like to play a novelty or variety number before I sign off on Sunday nights after I'm done facilitating whatever sports we've been broadcasting. Since it's my last sign off before Halloween, I thought I might go with more than just a single song. Any thoughts on good picks? Probably shouldn't do more than three or four since it's technically "after hours" when I do that, but it's always good to get a good mix up.
Songs currently in the line-up...
Werewolves of London - Warren Zevon (I actually prefer this to the Monster Mash) This Is Halloween - Nightmare Before Christmas Monster Mash - Bobby "Boris" Pickett (best Valentine's Day song) Nature Trail To Hell - Weird Al (an under-represented piece from his work...) Turn Around - They Might Be Giants Jingle Bells - The Barking Dogs Thriller - Michael Jackson Ghostbusters - Ray Parker Jr.
There's a lot of stuff I *want* to include, but shouldn't... already this list is way too long. I'll probably cut out Turn Around, unfortunately, as awesome as that song is... but before I finalize, wanted to check with people about things, see what their thoughts were on other possible additions.

Maybe Zombie Jamboree by Rockapella? Jingle Bells might be a bit premature (though it definitely qualifies as novelty ). Looks like a good list.

I'm not sure I have any suggestions, but any list that includes "Nature Trail to Hell" is OK in my book.

I confess that including Jingle Bells isn't exactly spooky in the traditional sense, but I love scaring the people who have a great fear of Christmas Creep. And yes, I'm a huge Rockapella fan, but alas my time was cut short. But thanks for the suggestion! I should get it into my standard list of tunes...
