I'm watching S11 of MST3K, and I'm on Reptilicus.
I'm pretty meh on it so far. Does it get better?

You're going to get different opinions here... I *love* Reptilicus and IMO it's surpassed only by "Cry Wilderness".

Imo, yes. Cry wilderness stands out for me. So does avalanche. I think by the end of the season it all feels more normal.

My advice to MJ way back when was to skip ahead to Avalanche and see if he responded to that episode, since at the time the board had given it near-unanimous praise. That seemed to work for him. Since then I might also amend that to Wizards of the Lost Kingdom as well.
But even still, different people are going to have different reactions. Not everybody is going to respond to the new series, which is fine. The original series was lightning in a bottle, which means this new series will be under intense scrutiny for the things it doesn't do. I myself just sit back and let it be itself, and I enjoyed it overall.
I personally quite liked Reptilicus, though admittedly I had to get used to it and let the new style settle with me. But I anticipated that and adapted quite quickly.
Other episodes I enjoyed: Cry Wilderness Avalanche The Beast of Hollow Mountain Starcrash The Loves of Hercules Yonggary, Monster from the Deep Wizards of the Lost Kingdom Mac and Me Atlantic Rim (I still have three episodes to go in the new season)
If I had one criticism of the new season, I'd say it was that it lost steam toward the end. There is very mediocre batch of episodes starting around Wizards of the Lost Kingdom II. The Time Travelers was a missed opportunity as well. But overall I've embraced the new show and remain optimistic.

I would say yes. I actually "liked" Reptilicus when I saw it, but then I saw it with a packed audience at a preview screening so that helped. Now, I don't think it's the worst ep. of the season but there are definitely better ones. I would probably rank them this way, best-to-worst:
Wizards of the Lost Kingdom Cry Wilderness Avalanche Starcrash Yongary, Monster from the Deep Time Travelers The Beast of Hollow Mountain Carnival Magic Wizards of the Lost Kingdom II Reptilicus Land that Time Forgot Christmas that Almost Wasn't At the Earth's Core The Loves of Hercules

I'm on Time Travelers.
S11 is starting to grow on me.

To me, little bits of genius are sprinkled throughout the season. There are some dull, forgettable episodes, but they are surpassed by some that stick out like a sore thumb. The worst one being The Land Time Forgot, as it is so monotone I cannot be asked to remember anything about it. My favorite of the season was The Wizards of the Lost Kingdom. It had that old stock fantasy movie vibe that I crave from MST3K and it delivers it in spades. Other standout titles include Starcrash and Cry Wilderness.

That's funny, I was listing out all of the S11 eps. for some reason recently and could only come up with 13 and couldn't for the life of me remember the 14th ep. Finally I had to look it up and it was Land Time Forgot. It's weird, because I didn't think it wasn't the WORST ep. of the season, it was just so unremarkable in every way that it's easily forgotten. It's like the Stranded In Space of the Jonah Era.

I just seemed to skip right over it from Starcrash to Loves of Hercules. I even re-evaluated it on my blog a while back and concluded it actually is an okay episode, but damn is it forgettable.

Wow, Land that Time Forgot was actually one of my favorites of last season (alongside Cry Wilderness and Starcrash). Maybe I'm just a huge sucker for cheesy old dinosaur movies? Fun fact: If you thought Land that Time Forgot was a bad or forgettable episode, it COULD have been worse... there's a remake, from The Asylum.

I even re-evaluated it on my blog a while back and concluded it actually is an okay episode, but damn is it forgettable. Exactly! I mean, I actually prefer it to At the Earth's Core as far as the Doug McClure entries, but ATEC is more memorable precisely because I didn't like it very much AND it was the season finale. LTTF, on the other hand, is such a middling episode with nothing overly great or terrible about it. It's fine, but forgettable.

Yeah, Land that Time Forgot is not a good episode, in my opinion. I just really couldn't find anything about it that caught my eye in the slightest. Another forgettable episode for me was At the Earth's Core, which was a shame that we had to end the season on it. Those "Fish out of water" titles just don't do it for me, apparently. Now, if they did Masters of the Universe in the next season, that may be a Fish out of water that breaks the mold and becomes an MST3K classic. So, here's hoping.
