I don't like saying "worst". One MSTie's trash is another MSTie's prized favorite, after all. And repeated viewings change things. Having said that...
I can't stand Red Zone Cuba. I'm not convinced *any* riffing could make that movie worth it.

Red Zone Cuna isn't a favorite, but I'll always love the line, "I want to hurt this movie, but I can never hurt it the way it hurt me!"

Usually for me, the worst episodes are the ones where the movie is so awful and uneventful that even Joel/Mike and the Bots have a difficult time making it watchable. The best examples of these for me would be Monster-a-Go-Go (which was ironically the first ever episode I watched from beginning to end) and The Wild World of Batwoman, easily two of the absolute worst films the show has ever featured, imo (and yes, that includes Manos).
I also struggle to make it through any Season 1 episodes, simply because the riffing and chemistry just simply isn't as strong.

I find the later season 1 episodes to be much funnier than the early ones.

Swamp Diamonds. It was just super boring, though What to Do on a Date is hilarious. Also I'm in the minority on this but I absolutely hate Sidehackers. First episode I couldn't watch completely in one sitting.

Not the worst movie they did, but one episode I have real trouble watching is "Teen-Age Crime Wave". It's a hostage melodrama, and I usually find those unwatchable, since it usually amounts to watching armed crooks bullying terrified captives for about 90 minutes or so. I can only think of two exceptions to that for me: the original "The Taking of Pelham One-Two-Three" (because Robert Shaw and Walter Matthau are great in it), "The Inside Man" (because of the twisty plot).

Funny, but most of my "disliked" episodes seem to be pretty popular. I don't care for the Season 2 biker movies, both Master Ninjas, Melting Man (quite possibly my least favorite of all the original recipe, i.e. Comedy Central in all its permutations years), The Touch of Satan, The Final Sacrifice (its popularity baffles me as I have watched it three times and have yet to crack a smile), more than half of Season 10, and any of the reboot that I managed to sit through before I gave up on it. Yet I like most of Season 1 and Hamlet. Go figure.

The Final Sacrifice (its popularity baffles me as I have watched it three times and have yet to crack a smile).... there may be 4 good laughs out of its ~90 minutes. never thought much of it originally, years later read so many golden reviews as a consensus fave ep that I bought it and watched it again to see that light. still one of the least funny of all their efforts; i dont understand any of its fan praise. what is it?

Final Sacrifice always confused me as well. When I watched it for my blog, it really struck me that that episode is a lot of running with a gag and driving it into the ground, and they just repeat the name "Rowsdower" a lot.
I think the episode is funny, but I'm not enamored with it. It's a little too repetitive and tiring to me.

I like season 1 but The Mad Monster is a tough one to endure. The transfer they used for the movie makes the episode nearly unwatchable. The riffing doesn't save it.
Of the later seasons, one that comes immediately to mind is The Unearthly. I think I've only seen that twice, but neither time did it do a whole lot for me. Definitely a weak point in the third season.

I feel a similar way about Werewolf and Soultaker to how you guys feel about Final Sacrifice. I acknowledge that there are good jokes in both, but neither of them make me laugh for whatever reason.
As for season 1, I don't care for Untamed Youth. That's easily my least favorite episode of the season. I just hate the movie in that episode and the riffing doesn't do much to make it enjoyable.

One of my lowest rated episodes; 144th of 147 reviewed (disregarding every reboot ep). as a movie, it was incredibly similar to 518s Atomic Brain, which I thought they did a far better job with.

I normally don't think too much of The Unearthly, but I love both of the shorts and think the host segments are pretty awesome. 33% of that episode is great, but the primary portion of it is just blech.

As a Canadian, The Final Sacrifice is dear to me because of the plethora of Canadian jokes, and maybe because there are a lot of Canadian references, a lot of the riffs go zinging over heads so I definitely get the disconnect. The fact that I lived in Calgary and used to golf at a course in the area where the film was shot (Water Valley Golf and C.C.) makes it beloved. Huge LOL when Zap turned on the car radio and Mike made the crack about "As It Happens", a very obscure but very funny riff if you live north of the border.

I think I said this before but "Monster A Go Go" was not funny at all. Not a single worth riff.
