As we approach the end of 2018, what were your favorite television shows this past year? A few of mine:
Black Mirror (Season 4). Okay, technically these came out at the very end of 2017, but I binge-watched them in January. Another strong season of the dark anthology series from Charlie Brooker. "Crocodile," "Hang the DJ" and "Metalhead" were personal faves.
Better Call Saul (Season 4). This Breaking Bad spinoff is the best show on television imo. Great writing, cast, direction, etc. A slow burner, but well worth it imo.
Norm Macdonaled Has a Show. A very unusual talk show that's essentially just Norm being Norm. Best bit: Norm flirting with Jane Fonda.

Haven't seen the new Saul season but I eagerly anticipate its blu-ray release.
My friends and I are rewatching season one of Westworld before we watch season two, which we have at the ready. Season one was one of the best seasons of television I've seen in a very long time, so I can't wait to see how the second season stacks up.
Of the shows I've actually watched so far, Lost in Space was probably the show I enjoyed the most. It soes a lot of things right that most Netflix shows do wrong and it's a fairly fun family oriented character piece. I can't wait for season two personally. The only other Netflix shows I dug this year were Disenchantment and MST.
My friends and I watched both season one of Star Trek: Discovery and season two of Timeless (as well as the condensed series finale we just got) from beginning to end with weekly get-togethers every time a new episode dropped. Of the two I like Timeless more, though Discovery had some great moments.
I wish I could say I've kept up with my superhero shows, but there is way too much content out there right now and I got a little burned out. I still need to get to Daredevil and see how that one turned out.
Undoubtedly the worst show I watched this year was that one episode of The Orville I watched. Holy crap, that was painful.

BoJack Horseman was my fave. I can't believe how a cartoon about anthropomorphic animals is more real and deep than a show with a live cast of humans.
