I'm watching The Giant Claw. How did this movie not get featured on MST3K? I know they can't do every bad movie, but it just seems like it'd be a no brainer for the show. It's a cheesy monster sci-fi movie from the 50s.

Likely film rights. Giant Claw is owned by Sony currently, and while they've licensed to the show it's been rare. What few Sony titles they did have were likely licensed by a different division for television broadcast (example: Space Travelers was licensed by Film Ventures International I believe).

What few Sony titles they did have were likely licensed by a different division for television broadcast (example: Space Travelers was licensed by VCI I believe). I have suspected the same thing. Now the show probably wouldn't be in a rush to use it anyway since they want to focus on widescreen color movies. I think it would probably be a better fit for Rifftrax since they already have a relationship with Sony and are more likely to embrace a B&W title if they can license it for their VOD catalog.

There's an idea. Maybe Giant Claw could be the 2019 live show.
Though I'll bet my bottom dollar they're going to try and sell us with Werewolf or Pumaman on the Kickstarter. I totally called Space Mutiny last year.
