Did anyone else see the latest "Movie Jo Night" with "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark", or the "Password" game on last month's show? And who else will be watching her show from Brooklyn tonight?

"Movie Jo Night" tonight, with "Home for the Holidays". It's a 1971 made-for-TV suspense movie with, I believe, Sally Field, post-convent.

Watched "Home for the Holidays" last night. I thought it was pretty good. It had a gloomy atmosphere, and enough red herrings to keep me on my toes. I was really surprised when the culprit was revealed. MJ & Chris did a good job with ad-libbed riffs & comments, focusing on the confusing timeline, the padding, and their own theories on the criminal's identity. And the pre-show commercial reel was great, too.
Oh, and there was one big question: WHAT HAPPENED TO THE TURKEY?!

Oh, if you missed it, I'm pretty sure it's available on VOD at the Dumb Industries site.

I noticed that tonight's MJ Show is titled "Mary Jo & Chris Read Viewer Mail". I thought she was playing D&D in tonight's show. Looks like there may have been a substitution.

Yeah, I guess there was a scheduling problem with her nephew, so that is pushed back a month.

All I know about "The Cat Creature" is that it was an ABC Movie of the Week, and it was written by Robert Bloch. He's best-known for "Psycho" and three horror-themed episodes of TOS. As for the Cult Robe Contest, it's been over 40 years since middle school sewing class, so I'll just be a spectator for this one.

There's going to be a bonus, Treehouse exclusive broadcast on Friday at 7 p.m. I only point it out because I'm going to be a guest, talking about how a crazy local author/drama competition judge stole my phone last month.

So, who else saw "The Cat Creature"? I thought it was OK. I didn't mind that it had a slow build-up. And, while I figured out the big reveal maybe half an hour before MJ & Chris did, I was surprised at part of the finish. Plus, I really like cats.

That was one heck of a story. At the risk of making light of it, I posted in the chat that I could just see Fish and Wojo bringing the judge in at the 12th Precinct and trying to explain the situation to Barney.

Re: the last couple of shows, I thought "Movie Jo" turned out OK. I missed "Gargoyles" the last time it was on Svengoolie, and I agree that it was pretty good. And as for last night's show, I don't expect to watch that one again. I could've happily lived the rest of my life not knowing about...those videos on YouTube. I missed the Clubhouse-Only segment on Monday. I'll catch it on tape delay.
