I always love it when a SOL crew member points out an actor in the experiment and says "Hey that looks like so-and-so" and it does. Here are my 3 faves:
The limo driver in Time Chasers: "Hey look, it's Michael Keaton!"
Mickey the Gardener in The Screaming Skull: "Clapton!"
A cave dweller in Cave Dwellers: "Coppola?"
Any body else got a favorite lookalike?

In Time Chasers they said "Lisa Kudrow!" Does anyone know if it really was her? It looked so very, very similar, but it wasn't on her long enough. I didn't think the movie was new enough, and I'd heard that she wasn't a heavy actress before "Friends", but you never know.

You know that one guy, I don't remember his name from Girl in the Gold Boots? He was the one who "discovered" the gal's dancing "talent." Mike and the Bots never pointed this out but I always thought he beared a striking resemblance to the guy who played Major West on the old Lost In Space show.

Well I scanned the credits on my DAP-DVD, as well as the IMDB and found no mention of Lisa Kudrow......The only contemportary actress I can think of as starring in MST3K is Demi Moore in Master Ninja I.

According to Daddy-O at MST3K Info "Lisa Kudrow" is actually Vicky A. Bourn listed as Worshipful One.

I don't know who exactly Mike was impersonating, but the sketch where he makes "Indian Saphron soup", and tries to pull off Crow's net, that one is great.

Ator, Mike was impersonating The Frugal Gourmet.
I don't know where the Frug disappeared to, but he used to be one of the original "celebrity"chefs, I think I remember seeing him on Letterman or early Leno.
Haven't seen him in years now-he used to have his own show called, strangey enough, "The Frugal Gourmet"
That is a funny bit, isn't it? I still like Mike'sDeNiro from This Boy's Life impression earlier in that episode-great stuff, an underrated ep, IMO ;D

I liked the three impersonations of a certain Mr. Rooney in Phantom Planet. That had me laughing all the way through the commercial break.

In response to Lemminkimmen wondering whatever happened to The Frugal Gourmet:
Jeff "The Frugal Gourmet" Smith withdrew from the public eye five years ago in the midst of a sexual scandal.
In July of 1998 (four days before he was to face trial in a Tacoma, Washington courtroom) Smith agreed to pay an undisclosed sum of money to seven young men who had accused him of variously of groping, kissing and raping them when they were teenagers.
In settling with the seven, Smith did not admit to their charges, which he has flatly denied.
The scandal, however, seems to haved ended Smith's 24-year career as one of t.v.'s biggest kitchen stars.
So there.
OBMIF
P.S. "I bid you peace."
