Red Zone Cuba cast according to Daddy O's Drive In Dirt. ----------------------- -------------------------- Prove me wrong. I agree, he's not listed on Daddy O's Dirt. There are two sheriffs in the movie. First one encounters Cook and Landis as they finish changing their tire. Before he can 'run 'em in' he gets a call on his radio about Griffin's escape, and tells them to hi-tail it as he jumps back into his car. As they pull away, Griffin (Coleman) jumps into the back of the truck. Later, Cook and Landis are at their campfire having beans and coffee with Griffin, another sheriff (Hale) comes upon them and Griffin hides. He asks them if they've seen Griffin, and they of course reply no. The sheriff then informs them that there is a reward for his capture, should they happen to see him. Mike and the 'bots then yell: "He's over there! He's over there!" Maybe I'm having a moment, but I would swear that sheriff is Alan Hale.

Usually, Double Features only work for me if they're very similar. All the way down to the episode. Usually would have to be from the same host, and in some cases same season (like season one or KTMA)

I just watched RZC again and sorry Change but that's not Alan Hale Jr. Kinda looks like him, kinda sounds like him and they do a Gilligan riff but it's not him. Of that I am certain.

I didn't read ALL the posts, but I think Manhunt in Space and Crash of the Moons would be a perfect double feature. Let's NOT forget Winky!!

I like all the double features mentioned. A Roger Corman double Feature with Teenage Caveman and Viking Women & The Sea Serpent would be cool as both films were shot at the same location. One on Monday and the other..on Monday afternoon/early evening.. The Godzilla ones, double Spies, double Russian films, are all GREAT ideas. Here's more Double Lippert Rocketship XM and King Dinosaur. How about Double Rocky Jones, Manhunt in Space and Crash of the Moons Or SF Intl & Starfighters as a flying double feature Double Jungle with Jungle Goddes and Lost Continent. The Crawling Double Feature - the Crawling Eye and Crawling Hand Double your pleasure with Angels Revenge & Hobgoblins Double Spiders - Horror of Spider Island & Giant Spider Invasion Double the most unwatchable episodes - Overdrawn at Memory Bank & Colossus and the Headhunters(those DUMB NummyMuffin Skits were useless & dumb to me, as were many segments during Season 6 with the characters doing more of a 180 than ever) Well whatdaya think sirs and ma'ams

When you answered this post, Phantom Engineer, I could hardly wait to get my RZC DVD and prove you wrong!! Well, I've got that DVD, and you are........ absolutely correct. Man I would have sworn in court that was Alan Hale. I believed for ten years it was him... As much as I want it to be him, as much as it looks like him, as much as it sounds like him, as much as Crow does a Gilligan riff...alas it is NOT ALAN HALE JR!! I'm even looking at these pictures and seeing him. But when you look at the movie, him moving...it is NOT ALAN HALE JR!!!See, beliefs can change. Thank you for your patience, Phantom. Peace, CBG [8)>

Well, you guys pretty much named all the ones I would've. Roger Corman with Teenage Caveman and Viking Women...yep. Or maybe swap in It Conquered the World for one of them. But, with that one, I could take The Beginning of the End instead and do a Peter Graves double-feature. I also like the spider trilogy, the Crawling double-feature, the Creature marathon, Werewolf and I Was a Teenage Werewolf, the disembodied heads double-feature, and the Godzilla, Fugitive Alien, Lippert, and Rocky Jones ones, as well as the idea of a Robot trilogy, etc...and the Million Eyes of Sumuru with Castle of Fu Manchu--there's one I hadn't thought of before. I was reading through this topic, and up until Dsman's post, I still had _one_ idea that hadn't been said--but he beat me to it: Jungle Goddess with Lost Continent. (snaps fingers) Curses! Those I'd put together not only because of the jungle element, but because they have similar plot-points, worldviews, etc. and there are scenes in Lost Continent that SO had me quoting from Jungle Goddess, long before Joel and the 'bots did. Also, it's a case of "see the first one and then you'll _get_ the jokes in the second." Optionally add in The Mole People for a trilogy full of extra rock-climbing goodness!
How 'bout double eyes--The Crawling Eye and Attack of the The Eye Creatures? Eh...as a double-feature it was a good idea, but it lacked _vision_. (rimshot)
Ooh! Ooh! Wait, I got one--and it contains movies that nobody has mentioned at all yet: A creepy, sticky double-feature full of "hick" characters: Attack of the Giant Leeches and Squirm. And it even has both hosts!
Or...painfully cheesy fantasy trilogy: Outlaw, Deathstalker, and Quest of the Delta Knights.
Or a Burt. I. Gordon marathon--Earth Vs. the Spider, both Amazing Colossal Man movies, and Beginning of the End. Didn't he also do the effects in King Dinosaur, by the way, or am I out of it?
Or watch all the Roger Corman ones in one day, if you dare...
Possibly even more painful: All five GAMERAS! AAAAH!
...no, no, _the_ most painful marathon/trilogy would be the Coleman Francis one, I have to say.
...and I'll shut up now.
...Notorious
