It's a mixed bag. There are great epsidoes (Final Sacrifice, Werewolf) and some stinkers (Devil Fish, and I loathe Delta Knights) and a bunch of middle ground eps (Projected Man, Space Children)
So it's too psychotic to be listed among my favorites.
And I'm the opposite from you Ator on "Phantom Planet", I thought it started off pretty funny, with the puffy credis and making fun of the co-pilot.

Season Nine was the "dreary Brits" season and resonated fully with me. The Projected Man, Gorgo, Killer Bees, Puma Man all reflected what happens to a nation that has problems with sunlight. I love England. It's cool and people leave you alone. Even the nut cases are polite. You don't have people trying to be your friend or getting money out of you every five feet...... Uh...I got off the subject a bit here. Ok, let me adjust my tin foil. There. Of all the episodes from this season I liked Final Sacrifice and Delta Knights the best. Puma Man and Screaming Skull are close behind.

Wow, all this time I've thought I was the red-headed stepchild for loving Delta Knights. I was of the impression most people hated it.
Season 9 is great.

m you Ator on "Phantom Planet", I thought it started off pretty funny, with the puffy credis and making fun of the co-pilot. I dunno. That "best and the brightest" thing was cheesy enough for a laugh, but definitely got tiresome after the umpteenth Mike and the Bots said it. When I say "didn't get funny until the end", I mean gut busting riffs. There were definitely some good ones early on in that ep, but for the most part it's just....meh.

I still haven't seen "Phantom Planet", "Deadly Bees", "Space Children" nor "Quest of The Delta Knights" yet. "Projected Man" was weak to me. "Touch of Satan" and "Gorgo" are good episodes. The rest are all classic and hillarious, IMO!
