Published and ready for listening in my archive. Despite what has been said he's not the spawn of Satan, sorry of that disappoints you. Hoping to have part 2 up before the end of the month.

Despite what has been said he's not the spawn of Satan, sorry of that disappoints you. If he were just a gargoyle it would be a lot less disappointing. The fact that he's a thoughtful guy with a love of cult entertainment that all of us here can relate to, and yet seems committed to securing his legacy as a guy who blocks releases, well, it's a real shame.

GASP! KRYPTON BOUGHT CRITERION TOO! We've been discussing that in the Godzilla thread down in the movie section. There is a lot of speculation going on as to what Janus has planned for those titles. The high optimist theory is they might be trying to do a complete Showa Godzilla collection, and just need the rights to the Kraken and Universal films to do it. I'm ULTRA excited about the Criterion deal, hopefully we don't have to wait a long time to get them on Blu-ray! However, I don't see them licensing the rest of the Showa films from Kraken/Universal (maybe they'll pick up the Kraken titles when their rights expire). Though I'd love to see Criterion work out a deal to release the Japanese version of KING KONG VS. GODZILLA stateside. I'm SO glad to see the titles Classic Media was sitting on finally getting a good home!

Good to see the Wade interview posted. Any hope for the return of the MSTieCast?

Since 2017 is coming to the end of the road, I actually wonder if Shout will consider giving Space Children a possible solo release (since Olive's rights are expiring at this point) or just leave it alone since the Manos disc (along with the Shout select titles) sadly didn't sell too well.

However, Space Children has one great advantage over the Manos disc & the Shout! Select titles in having never had a prior DVD release.

I intentionally avoided the shout single DVDs, as I already had the episodes. If Space Children is ever released as a single DVD, it's a likely buy from me for completion's sake.

It's possible they might release singles as the films become available and perhaps be grouped into a box set later on.

Shout could technically make one more volume with "new" episodes if they released the remaining Paramount ones as singles, then decided to group them and on the off chance found the rights to Quest of the Delta Knights.
Even if it meant one Joel and three Mike's again.

Well part 2 of the Wade Williams Interview is on youtube. It will go live on Wednesday at 7AM. Not that anyone cares but after that I'm prolably going to be out of the Mystery Science Theater 3000 community (save for maybe the singles group but there is an obvious caveat with that one). Never say never, but I really don't see the point in staying with the fandom any more.
As for the Mstiecast, We are on, "An indefinite Hiatus".
