Looks like they used the same set for two movies. Good detective work, Blackmarket Jazz.

Actually, it's really pretty obvious. I'm surprised no one (including myself) has noticed it before.

You must have a lot of time. Actually, with 2 kids under 6 and a full time job as well as selling my house and looking for a new one - no I don't have a lot of time.

Some studio prop person 're-gifted'. Well if they can "re-gift" why couldn't they just "de-gift"?

For the record, that "burger painting", is actually the picture of an island. One of the "Sandwich Islands" no doubt. THANK YOU!!!

According to IMDB, Russel A. Gausman was a set decorator on both "Leech Woman" and "This Island Earth." (as well as "Deadly Mantis", The Mole People", "The Brute Man", and "Revenge of the Creature.") I guess he had some sort of fixation with that burger painting!

I saw the Burger photo during an Alfred Hitchcock episode last night on ME TV. It does look like an island, now that I think about it. My Girl Friend has always suspected it was an Island picture as well.

Prop recycling happens a lot in Hollywood to save money. Star Trek used to recycle props all the time. It was weird when every other species in the galaxy used the same ship design.
