Lately I've mentioned, in this thread or that , that I'm combing thru eps on VHS / DvD / or YouTube for MSTy Music that wasn't part of the original 99 cuts that made up my "Music From Some Guys In Space " collective. Well it's gone beyond Sci-Fi eps that I hadn't gotten back to yet , and I'm teetering over the edge of completist . . looking into the endless murky void of "just plain nuts" What I'm asking for here is any little moments you recall along the lines of , say , the random guitar chords in "Monster A Go-Go" that spark "Jingle Bell Rock" . . . moments like that. Below we see the most recent I've raked into the pile. Some quick spoken bits I'll use in the sequence, & not all "splashes of song" work out of context . . but let's see what you might think of !

I fully acknowledge that , as interesting as it may be to ponder the short musical bursts thruout the 10 seasons, it's not a topic that may get many results.
We're all already engaged in determining where certain scenes / characters / or lines come from , and this may well be an even vaguer pursuit. I mean, random song-bits that aren't even tied to the plot ?!
Ah well, if one or two a' ya' come up with one I hadn't come across, it's worth it.
( to me )

thanks Super Donna , Startin' to figure I'd concocted a thread that required too much research to answer. Those sites are quite strange but helpful . . . . well , a bit. If I want the original Hi-Keeba looping for 40 minutes ! The best way to find those little shreds of songs is while simply going thru the eps.

I figure since I was just dancing around to it, I'd post in case you hadn't remembered it.. in Hellcats, servo sings along with the retarded jukebox "I can't take a chance, I'm losing my dignity"

I figured if the "little-bits" came from folks , many would be ones I already had , like > Servo's "strut , pout , put it out . . ." from 'Alien in L.A.' or the return of "Leather Coat" from 'Lovers' Lane' . Another Servo w/ jukebox ! Don't happen to recall how deep into the flick it is , do ya' ? early / late ? Of all the ones I oughta' watch all-the-way thru for bits, 'Hellcats' isn't strictly the most inviting ! heh-heh

I already had , like > Servo's "strut , pout , put it out . . ." from 'Alien in L.A.' Hey Big, are you sure the "Strut, pout" thing is from Alien from L.A.? I don't remember it from that but I do remember it from Outlaw. And I can't remember exactly how far the Losing My Baby(/Dignity) song is in Hellcats, but I'm pretty sure it's in the first half. It's during one of the wild parties, which should make the search quicker.

Like that rather cool bit all 3 do w/ "there's a world going on underground . ." one handles vocal / one does bass / and the third does a calliope ! OMG , I'm deep in Minutiae-Land !! & while I'm living there, I'll haf'ta clear up this "Outlaw In L.A." matter

I hope I'm not wrong. Hopefully someone else can chime in before you get too involved. (Subtle hint for The Oracle....)

you're talking about little bits(not full production numbers during host segments) like the short Rowsdower song "Rowsdower saves us and saves all the world" or the bizarre "she thinks she's a cat" from um, you know, the creepy old woman and the three "european" girls movie, or that sort of thing?

yup , and most in-between too !
"strut , pout, put it out . . ." from "Outlaw"..."Big Stupid to the rescue ! "-- "Lover's Lane" . loads of good song-bursts just pulled from "EeGah" ( you know, all those sort ) Tracking all these short bursts is INsane ! / many don't work out of context or are in conflict with too much film audio / & that kind of over-anal completist gathering would render this project near endless !
So I'll be content with what I find ( screw that , must catalog ALL !! )
