WOW! I only wished I could split a vote 60/40 sometimes! Girls Town has been one of my long standing favorites, while Girl in Gold Boots has become one of my "new" favorites. Talk about a tough call.
Buxom Silver vs. the Jolie-esque Michelle.
Psycho Sarafina vs. the Teleporting Icky-Elf
Paul Anka's sappy crooning vs. Critter's sappy ballads.
Undercover Delivery "Boys" vs. Rogue Pushers.
It's so hard to make a decision...
In the end, I guess I gotta go with
"You'll have to check those at the desk!"
Do like most of the music in GiGB over GT though.

Racket Girls itself was pretty fair, but I remember when I first saw this, the short, the skits, BOING! I was breathless from laugh so hard. It woke my (then) wife up. "What;'s so funny" she said very curious.
But overall the rest of the episode can't hold up to the others, all of which are timeless classics.
How to rank them, well I'll go back to my website and just go with what's there.
* Girl in Lovers Lane ranked 25th in my top 30
* Girl in Gold Boots was a healthy #11
* Girls Town cracked the top 10, at #10.
And yeah, Silver was hot, but I got a thing for her sister, always have. Andy was a fool to leave her and marry Helen! At least she got her guy in the original Star Trek.

While "Girls Town" is a very good episode, I'll have to give it a third viewing before I can compare it to some of my all-time favs. Third viewing? I'm suddenly very jealous, as I can't think of any MST3K episodes I haven't seen at least 10 times. Err...except Hamlet. And I know most Misties have a hard---err...the hots for Beverly Garland, I have to say Mamie Van D* looked spectacular in the Turkey Day promos she did with Adam West. And that's all I have to say about that. *or should that be "DD"?

I love all 4 of those but went with Gold Boots. Racket Girls gets far too little respect, but it's riffed excellently. The short is very funny too.

So who will it be? Carrie, Mamie, Peaches, or Michelle? OK, if we're voting for the episode, I'd give Girl In Lovers Lane a slight edge over Girls Town. But, since we're voting for the girls, nothing beats the duo of Mamie and Elinor Donahue, IMO, so I had to go with Girls Town.

My vote goes for Mamie Van Hooters Doren and Girls Town. And Elinor Donahue should have stuck with the blonde look.

Yeah, I gotta say, Girls' Town for me, no question. The butt-kickin' nuns would have put it over the top, let alone Mel Torme as the bad guy and Paul Anka as the, er, hero? It's a watchable movie in its own right, so with riffing it's a winner.

Weekly Wednesday bump for final voting.
While "Girls Town" is my all-time favorite episode, all 3 of the others are great. "Girl in Lovers Lane" especially deserves recognition as a classic episode. I went back and re-watched "Racket Girls" this week and found it a much better ep than I remembered.
But for pure entertainment, you just can't beat Mamie, Elinor, Mel, Paul, and that one Romulan chick.

A minority view: While I like all these okay, and rather enjoy the movie by itself of Girl in Lover's Lane, I also like Racket Girls. There are several riffs in it that make me howl, including something along the lines of "if the League of Women voters made a stag film" I love that because I woulda never thought of it myself, but once they said it, it seemed oh so true. Maybe you had to be alive and aware in the 1950's or 60's to find that funny, knowing what the LWV stood for and who tended to join it, but I was alive then, so I find it uproarious. And I also love "sounds like the Ukranian national anthem."
