Tommy was dubbed by some girl, wasn't he?... I wouldn't say the Neptune Men kids were annoying, but they were pretty damn funny sounding.
And the Sugar Crisp man.

I can tolerate Japanese kids. Tommy from Pod People's dubbing was obnoxious, though.

"Monster Kids" but in particular Roxie from Godzilla versus Megalon who's entire role centered on being a japanese kid in short pants. No connectionn to Jet Jaquar or Godzilla, he's just an annoying kid who lives with his "single" older brother.

The Neptune kids running in and out of high level crisis meetings in shrieky, tiny-shorted pack shredded my nerves in short order. But everyone in the movie has annoying and inappropriate responses to everything ("They say spacemen caused all that snow!" "I heard, anything can happen nowadays." "Hmmm...") so I guess they're products of their environment.
Oh, MY spaceship. When we bought it it was OUR spaceship.

What about the kids and their all-knowing glob of cosmic mucous from Space Children? I think they deserve at least a mention.

I agree with the mention of the Space Children. I give them a pass, though, since at least some of their weird know-it-allness was imposed by the Alien Glob o' Peace. Which Japanese monster movie was it that had the kids who first stow away on their dads' boat (and eat and drink all their food) and then later on the submarine? Wasn't that Kenny and Helen who always wanted a Coke? Anyway, the more I think about it, the more I think that those little brats were the most annoying of all. The kids in the other movies were dragged into events by their elders or by fate, destiny, or bad luck. Kenny and Helen stowed away and stuck their noses in generally, and then whined non-stop because they were in danger.

Oh Space Children! I haven't seen that in so long! As soon as Project Moonbase is over I'm popping that in. Wait. I'm driving 7 hours tomorrow and it"s already 10:45. Maybe I should start now.
