I'm older than many of you, and I just got a speeding ticket! I crashed into a telephone poll. No damage done except about $1000 to my truck and fined $53 for ruining my own life. Feel better? ;D |

Last night, I had a dream that I was the cause of an expensive traffic accident. I was so relieved when I woke up.
And then I went about 20 miles above the speed limit all the thirty or so miles from my house to my campus.
I just don't learn, do I?

Funny you say that, as I got a speeding ticket for going too fast next to a high school. But it wasn't MY high school so who's to blame me? On a side note, I'd say that as a youngster we speed in our cars to look cool  . As we get old, we speed because our life becomes so busy, we are always in a hurry to get somewhere..... |

You know what's worse than getting a speeding ticket? Not really as expensive but horrible. Getting stopped at a license check and have little beer on the breath (not drunk mind you) and getting harassed.
