I was thinking that could be the reason, but even if you have nice skin, it doesn't mean you're attractive. I learned in Humanities that people find symmetry attractive, as well as shiny hair, full lips, and dilated pupils (go figure)

Isn't there some sort of ratio, like 3.3234 or something, that makes up the body? Like, the more the ratio is preserved, the more aesthetically pleasing you look.

I have heard of that ratio, it has something to do with how your body fat is distributed or something, maybe the size of your hips divided by the bust...I don't know. One thing I would like to know, who first came up with the idea that women should shave their legs and underarms? Are hairy women unnattractive?

you know that beats me, but I shave for my own sake of not being able to stand it, armpit hair itches, and leg hair is..well it just seems nasty.

But she was pretty in "Breakfast at Tiffany's," the guy had this wierd orange-y skin, what was his name? Paul? It was like George Hamilton skin tone, I saw a guy on the beach the other day who looked like that, some people are not afraid of skin cancer. I. The orange-y skin guy was George Peppard. But the most embarassing thing in Breakfast at T. was Mickey Rooney.

Umm, YES!!!! Anyway, I always liked women from the B&W movies because they had a classier hotter look back then. I don't know why, but like MTM is hot from Dick Van Dyke, The good looking girl from the Munster is hot, the mom on the Addams Family is hot. You know half of TV Land doesn't look bad right now.

TOTALLY unattractive. No matter how good a woman looks otherwise, if they have hairy legs or armpits the interest is totally gone. Worse than looking at a man or even a cockroach. It's a physically disgusting thing to see. I know that's harsh, but at least for me, in the society I grew up in, the way my mind is built, that's the way it is. Maybe it's not even fair. That said, if a girl I was into made me shave my armpits, or she wouldn't shave hers, I'd do it.

if a girl I was into made me shave my armpits, or she wouldn't shave hers, I'd do it. Oh, that's so sweet! Just remember to wait for at least 15 minutes before applying deoderant otherwise it will sting. And change the blade often, razor burn under your arms is killer! I agree with Mary, I don't think I could do the whole hairy legs thing, I've just gotten used to doing it and trying to stop would be hard...and I don't think shave minimizing lotions work! If only electrolosis was cheaper...

I remember when I didn't know that one.....ow yeah the only annoyance for shaving is that you have to do it so often and men don't say "oh it doesn't take that long... cause the legs, especially when you have long ones like Elise and I, it takes 20 minutes and that if you go fast and risk the chance of nicking yourself. then there's bikini lines, armpits, and then you have to work on the face, mostly eyebrows gettting those all shaped evenly and perfectly with the caution that you don't accidently take all the eyebrow off. You see all the pains we go through to please you guys? and I haven't even touched makeup, and tanning, and hair, and toning the body....

And you know what? After all the pain and suffering of shaving and waxing, guys don't even notice...it's like they take it for granted that we do this kind of stuff, either that, or they think women are born with hairless legs. I think men should be made to shave their legs too! Then we'll see how they feel about hairy women.
Don't even get me started on make-up. Do guys even notice when a girl wears make-up, do they even like the way it looks? oh the things we girls do for attention...

But that's the point. To not really be able to tell. Aunt Becky from Full House told me. Hey I remember that episode! Nothing much else about that show except for the cast. My body hair is attractive I think, not too long or noticeable, but I guess I could shave it off. No biggie. One time I shaved my chest, its only a small triangle between my pecs, and it kind of itched every day, but I got used to it until the little tuft grew back. I thought I looked the same without the hair. But my nipple hair, that's a totally different story!
