This isn’t really about a future MST3K episode release, though it’s probably guaranteeing that the episode will remain in print for awhile - Shout Factory just announced they’re releasing Danger: Diabolik on Blu Ray: www.shoutfactory.com/product/danger-diabolik?product_id=7366Actually kinda excited about this release - I think the movie is pretty entertaining on its own, and it’s one of a handful of films they did that will benefit for being HD, since it’s more colorful than the usual fare they did. Assuming they may include the episode as an extra.

So, take this with a huuuge grain of salt, but forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=322711A poster in this thread (who has posted insider-ish information in the past that has turned out to be true) is claiming a boutique label has finally worked out a deal for Susan Hart's titles and will be released next year. The hinting seems to be pointing at either Shout or Kino. If it does turn out to be Shout, this could be big news for finally getting official release of her episodes. Again, this is vague rumor-y info (and even if it's true, that doesn't mean we're getting the MST3K episodes), but I thought I'd pass it along just as something for this thread.

A lot of people are hoping that the 3 Paramount titles (Fire Maidens from Outer Space, The Deadly Bees, The Space Children) are going to be available for Shout to get the rights for (some speculation it's this year that Paramount's deal with Olive is ending), and that those 3, either with a wild card episode like Quest of the Delta Knights (maybe they finally found out who owns it?) or possibly just those 3 and a bonus disc will be the next set.

Wow, Bert I. Gordon and Joe Turkel are both still alive and still together enough in their 90's to do interviews. That's pretty impressive.
Edit: Oh, that's an older feature from the original set. Don't remember it at all.

It took me a bit of time to figure out why the RiffTrax forum showed a new post.

Shout Factory is having a Turkey Day sale, and Volume 39 with the bonus DVD comes to $49.97 plus $5.99 shipping (shipping is free if your order is over $50). I think that’s the lowest it’s been (if you want the bonus DVD at least).

So what’s on the USB drive? The description says “We'll send you an OFFICIAL MST3K KICKSTARTER COLLECTOR'S USB DRIVE, loaded up with the first three new episodes and a bunch of exclusive bonus content.”

Being from Another Planet, Zombie Nightmare, and especially Incredible Melting Man are my Halloween favorites.

Shout Factory has shown that the MST Hour Wraps are beyond an afterthought for them - at least twice they admitted after someone reminded them on their Facebook page that they weren’t a part of the special features because they flat out forgot about them (once they were able to get them on; another time it was too late).

I think that brief clip of GvM in the credits qualifies as Fair Use.

I'm...honestly curious about seeing the whole series. Combination of the MST3K connection and liking Lee Van Cleef.
It's crazy they actually have HD masters of it.
