After the 'people and robots who've been traumatised by the movie Hobgoblins' skit, Crow casually leaves his hand behind on the phone he was holding when movie sign goes and he heads back into the theater.

I often flick over to Pluto TV just to see what MST3K is being shown and was very surprised earlier to see a moment from one of my most-viewed episodes (Red Zone Cuba) that I had never seen before! Looks like the Rhino DVD was cut to remove a commercial break bumper near the end of the episode and a few seconds of the movie (plus a riff) along with it. It's a rooster crowing over a shot of total darkness, before the scene opens on Mrs Chastain sipping tea and Crow cheerfully riffs "It's morning in purgatory!" The Rhino DVD just hard cuts from "Mind if we sunbathe nude?" straight into Cook stuffing his face at the breakfast table.
The version on the Gizmoplex has the bumper and riff intact (at 1.20.39), as do broadcast editions of the episode on YouTube - anyone know if the Shout Factory DVD does?

Shout Factory now have Space:1999 on Blu-ray and streaming, which makes Cosmic Princess more likely than it was.

MSTings were actually my introduction to the series, think my first was of a transcript of a fave 'so bad it's brilliant' episode of Space:1999. Had no idea who Mike and the rest were, but loved the concept of making fun of material in this way.
Once I had a chance to see the show and get into it, the MSTings of Stephen Ratliff's endless 'output' plus the MSTing of Tom Swift and his War Tank became firm faves.

At times like this it's important to keep mellow, so I've re-uploaded this cut of Riding with Death in one single video and in much better quality than before. If your glasses aren't too dirty, grab some turkey soup and enjoy.
(Some more "nice ADR" that didn't make the MST3K version at 14:30-14:51, and particularly 36:00-36:10.)

That'll be the big flurry of stock footage that ends the Invasion of the Neptune Men! (01.23.58 on the DVD)

Never thought I'd hear the Italian theme song to Return of the Saint show up on MST3K, but here we are.

As for the shorts, I'll have to think that over. Out of This World could make for one of those moral choice type games, as you play the bread delivery guy making his deliveries around town while being torn between good and evil. Junior Rodeo Daredevils The Video Game never woulda happened without that old timer Billy Slater. Catching Ross, obviously.

Was watching Escape 2000 last night and found myself longing to plug in a controller and start blasting at the silver guys. The storyline and settings just seemed to have so much video game potential, and Crow even makes a riff at one point about Strike being "in god mode with unlimited ammo", so I got to thinking about other MST movies that could potentially make for a decent game.
Space Mutiny could be fun, letting you take control of either Slab Bulkhead or Kalgan to determine the Galactica's fate. Spaceship battles, ground combat, dodgem chase, it's all good game material.
With a little tweaking some of the spy flicks could also become games (there already is a Diabolik game, in fact) and there must be a truck driving simulator that could be adapted into a Riding with Death game. The Creeping Terror could become a simple little mobile game where you control the monster and just go around gobbling people up, all while the party music plays. The Godzilla movies have received several video games so Gamera definitely deserves one. Devil Fish and Gorgo could also put you in control of the monster. The Rocky Jones universe might be a fun place to go; has there been a video game set in a retro 50s sci-fi rocketship universe? The Starfighters could become an exceptionally dull flight sim, and Racket Girls a equally dismal wrestling game. Losing the sleaze factor and the depressing cameos Angels Revenge might make for a good game, where you get to control a different Angel each mission. There's certainly enough action to make it a possible. Also; Red Zone Cuba The Game. The most depressing Grand Theft Auto. Any others?

As the chap who put that Denise video together (and also worked with her on Terrahawks a couple of years ago) I'm not aware of her having been based in Rome at any point - but then she has had a very long career!
Good catch on Marc Smith, BTW, that's incredibly obvious now that you mention it.
