I saw all of the coverage of the earthquake yesterday morning. I have to say as a U.S. Navy Veteran, who was stationed in Japan twice and Italy once. I would laugh at a 4.8 on the Richter scale shaker. No big deal, just another routine day of the Earth rumbling a bit.

I came across Ally the Piper. She's great at playing various covers of song on the bagpipes. In other words she just flat out rocks.
Ozzy Osborne's Crazy Train
Here's Ally the Piper on the Bagpipes and Mia Asano on the electric fiddle on the Charlie Daniels Band Classic the Devil Went Down to Georgia.
Fade to Black by Metallica. Some idiot trolled her and told her that Metallica does not belong on the bagpipes. James Hetfield tweeted back and said yes they do she's great. Then retweeted it themselves. *In Your Face* Troll!

I've always thought that the best invention exchange by The Mads is from Experiment #414 Tormented. The Drinking Jacket. For the fashionable lush going through the DT's. Get Em Off Me. Get Em Off Me.

Just a heads up in case no one noticed. Diet Kolos just uploaded MST3K #609 SD Turkey Day edition. He did not mention the name because according to him "I'm not saying the film's name as I've had some copyright issues with it in the past, and I think whoever runs Coleman's estate manually reviews for his stuff". So you might want to get it quick. I downloaded it to my external hard drive already. Thanks DK.

I'm happy that I already downloaded the episode from Diet Kolos's MST3K Broadcast Editions. Of course I also have the DVD. But what in the heck.

I miss the days of the original Sci-Fi Channel. Since it's become SyFy I hardly ever watch it. I forget that i's even there

I agree with Diet Kolos on this. Very big hard pass. I will probably spring for the DVD's later on, once they're released.

David Keith McCallum Jr. (19 September 1933 – 25 September 2023) was a Scottish actor and musician. Misties may remember him as "Castile" on the Master Ninja II segment "Hostages". He gained wide recognition in the 1960s for playing secret agent Illya Kuryakin in the television series The Man from U.N.C.L.E. His other notable television roles include Carter in Colditz (1972–1974) and Steel in Sapphire & Steel (1979–1982). Beginning in 2003, McCallum gained renewed international popularity for his role as NCIS medical examiner Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard in the American television series NCIS. On film, McCallum notably appeared in The Great Escape (1963).
David left school at age 18 and was conscripted for National Service. He joined the British Army's 3rd Battalion, the Middlesex Regiment, which was seconded to the Royal West African Frontier Force. In March 1954, he was promoted to lieutenant. After leaving the army, he attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (also in Londoleft school at age 18 and was conscripted for National Service. McCallum and his wife were active in charitable organizations that support the United States Marine Corps: Katherine's father was a Marine who served in the Battle of Iwo Jima and her brother was killed in the Vietnam War.

I just got my ship notice for the season 13 DVD's. I thought this might be it this morning. When I checked my USPS Informed Delivery account. There as a "Label Created" Notification from Louisville, Kentucky. Now about 15 minutes ago I get the MST3K your package has shipped notification. Season 13 DVD's should be here on by Tuesday. But no more kickstarter for me.

Yeah I received that e-mail as well. I also got this:
Physical rewards are shipping out now!
The warehouse unexpectedly took about 12 days to start fulfilling orders after the shipping payment emails went out. We have also discovered that they are NOT shipping them in the order that payments were received, as we had been told would happen. This means many of you who paid for shipping immediately still haven’t received a shipping confirmation, and others who paid later may already be receiving your packages.
We know the email we sent had a 1-3 week window to expect shipping info, but apparently that’s not the case. We are deeply sorry for yet another delay for some of you, but if you received an email to pay shipping and you successfully paid it, then the warehouse has your order and will be sending it out, just possibly later than we anticipated.
I haven't received a ship notice yet. With all of the fumbling around. I will not be contributing to the next kick-starter campaign.

I got lucky and was only charged $15.05 for the glasses and season 12 DVD's. I elected not to get anything else. Glad that I did. If there is another kick starter campaign, I will not contribute. Joel fumbled this one badly.

Funny what will trigger a memory. The Adult Swim thread reminded me of a pre-Jim Parsons aka Sheldon Cooper from the Big Bang Theory on a Quiznos commercial. Are those subs still around? I remember the last night version while watching Adult swim of course.
