I just watched a sliver of it. But it's got a lot of little inside jokes, sight gags.
The scene I saw had a few familiar faces like...
Ro-Man the robot and a Metalunan Monster as well as other B-Movie monsters making quick appearances. I might actually have to go see this one and see what other bits like this they offer.

You know, this reminds me: there was an episode of Looney Tunes where they did the "Duck Dodgers Of The 24th And A Half Century" where Daffy and Marvin are competing for some planet (Planet X maybe?). Anyway, it builds up to an ending where both just start powering up these huge doomsday weapons on their respective space ships, and I think that Daffy was controlling his with an Interociter.
Always thought that was a neat touch.

For me the Looney Tunes characters died with Mel Blanc. I guess it's good to keep it going but I hpoe new veiwers will also find the classic originals. You can't beat them.

For the most part I agree. Every time I watch a Looney Toons thing made after 1975 it just looks and sounds very, very strange.
Then again, I'm from the mindset that the classic Looney Toons episodes should be taught to children in schools as part of our culture.

Yeah, but the best thing about the original one's is they wern't made for children. They were shown in movie theaters full of adults. And some kids also I guess.

Sure, they aren't in the same league as the old ones but their OK. I guess Space Jam wasn't too bad. I might see this one (even though the director called it the Anti-Space Jam movie).

The best Daffy Duck cartoon is Duck Off, closely followed by Duck You And The Horse You Rode In On. And Torgo, I differ with you on Space Jam, it blew chunks. (IMO)

I guess I have too, just can't think of any at the moment. You're on an MST3K board and you can't think of a single movie worse than Space Jam. ;D The movie to me was just silly entertainment for kids. It's easier to swallow when you're 10. Trust me, there's no way a movie about Loony Tunes and Michael Jordan playing a basket ball game against aliens could have possibly be that good.

Well sure, there are worse movies used on MST. But not with that large a budget.

I've heard that Town And Country is worse, and I heard that Town And Country had a big budget.
I'm taking Kevin Murphy's advice and avoiding that film entirely.

Well, we got off topic.
I'll just say that Back In Action bombed this weekend. Made $9.5 million on a $80 million budget.
Biggest surprise this weekend was Matrix Revolutions 68% drop. That's bigger than Hulk's drop earlier this year (although it looks like Revolutions will still make more than Hulk).

I dunno why, but I never liked the Tunes. But I've never been into the "Violence as Humor" stuff, wether it be a Coyote getting blown up or Curly taking a finger to the eye. Just not my style.
Space Jams was excruciating for me, it was somebodies Birthday flick which is why I went. But gawd, I'd rather sit through 8 hours of Manos.
Seriously. Sitting throught that was like having ice picks driven through my brain!! GAAAH!
But this new one caught my eye, so I might have to check it (hey, I see 'em for free. Part time job)
