www.thedigitalbits.com/rumormill.html#0812They'll feature commentary tracks by three critics who hated the films! Andy Wachowski says, "It's the best idea we've ever had. It's hilarious. They just sit there and rip the poopie out of us for six hours."

They should have Mike and his pals make the comments...even though we won't see them in the lower right hand corner.

I wonder if they'll go the whole hog and include the "people in theater" style the Ghostbusters movie used?

The first Matrix was okay, didn't see the others as everyone I talked to who saw them said they were just rehashed.

The first Matrix was okay, didn't see the others as everyone I talked to who saw them said they were just rehashed. I don't know what those people were watching, but out of all the words that can be used to describe the sequels, "rehash" isn't one of them. I thought all three were absolutly brilliant and entertaining. However, I won't be picking up anymore of the releases. I got the DVDs for all three movies and that's just fine with me.

I don't understand why people didn't care for Matrix Reloaded. I saw the first movie and loved it, heard nothing but negative things about the second movie, and didn't bother seeing it until about a few weeks ago for school. I loved it. I probably had more fun than I did watching the first because my expectations were so low. Still haven't seen the third.

This sounds great. I might actually have to buy that.
I never went and saw the sequels either. I still haven't seen them, actually. I decided that the original was a fine way to end the whole thing and didn't bother with the sequels. Looks like I'll be seing them after all.

Couldn't Joel sue them for this? Then again he didn't sue Frank when he did Attack of the Killer B-Movies.

No, to be sued, Barabara said that: -There must be theater seats, AND a commentary. If it's just a commentary, it doesn't matter. But the theater seats are a trade mark. Didn't Ghostbuster do that with their commentary.

Didn't Ghostbuster do that with their commentary. Yes it did. But to their defense, they only had three theater seats and didn't fill the bottom of the screen with them.

What about Futurama episode, that was more of a tribute and they only did one quick riff but still.

Do they riff Ghostbusters, or merely "comment" It's a funny commentary, we are talking about a comedy film here, but it's more background injokes, funny rememberences and humorous hindsight and nothing you'd call MST3K style riffing.
