I don't know if it's been asked yet, but does anyone know if it's been corrected on the volume itself yet?

Okay, I watched the episode, and the intro is definetely there, but I still get the feeling something is still cut from the episode.
Near the end, when the characters are in those barrels to protect them from the shrews, one of the shrews grabs that woman's boot and steals it. However when the chatracters reach the ocean and the characters swim out to the boat, you can see that the woman is now completely barefoot, and both of her boots are gone, even though we only see one of her boots get taken from one of the shrews. At first I figured maybe it was a bad film cut, but then there was Crow's riff, where he says, "The movie would have been over 5 minutes ago if it wern't for your darned boots!" The fact that Crow says "boots" instead of "boot" made me wonder if something was cut there, although i don't see a cut in the shadowrama. Is something missing there?

I'm sorry if this question has been asked before but I need to know before purchasing...
I haven't bought Vol. 7 yet, if I go buy it new at say Best Buy, will they have the fixed Killer Shrews included or will I still need to contact Rhino for a new copy of Killer Shrews?
Thanks, Jason

I don't think there's any way to know for sure without buying it. There's no way Rhino recalled the sets, so there's still the possibility that if you buy it at a store it will be the defective version. Unless you contact Rhino and they tell you otherwise, you'll probably just have to bite the bullet and buy a hopefully correct set. If you don't get lucky just request the disc using Rhino's online form and await your bumper sticker (with bonus Killer Shrews!). I suppose getting it from Rhino Home Video directly would be the best bet, but there are no guarantees and like Phantom says it's at retail price, you can get a much better deal at Deep Discount, Amazon, or even a brick and mortar store.
It would be helpful if the updated sets would have some sort of identifying mark, like a small 'V2' on the barcode on the back of the box that the corrected Back to the Future sets were supposed to have.

Thanks, Jason Theres a very good chance it is the fixed version. I just bought a copy of Vol 7 at circuit city, and it has the fixed version of Killer Shrews. I think though, that if the Best Buy's copy was the version without the fixed disc, you could return it there and get another copy of it, which should hopefully be updated. But I don't usually buy DVD's from Best Buy myself, so I've no idea of their actual return policies. What I stated above i've mostly assumed.

I just got a reply from Rhino to the email I sent on oct 25, about how now they have set up an online form for replacement requests, I could post the URL when I get home if people want it.
Doesn't have a country field so isn't actually that useful to me though, unless I send it to my sister, hmm that might have to do I guess.

I got season 7 for Christmas, and I'm assuming it was purchased at a Best Buy, but it does have the defective disc...just checked, and just sent an email to rhino so, no guarantees when you buy it now, it either might have the corrected disc, or it might not
