Plus, and correct me if I'm wrong here, but didn't they use tape copies of those movies to begin with? You know when you see those making of segments, they're making the jokes in front of a tape with a timecode, and that's what they project on the blue screen. I don't think BBI ever used an actual film reel of any of the movies that were shown. Correct. They just used video masters (which were usually culled from 16mm prints). You can see video glitches occasionally.. depending on the episode.

Here's another way of getting a better version of a movie that you've already bought. How about instead of having to provide a screengrab (which could be easily faked) you send the actual defective DVD to the trader? Specific traders (like skyroniter) could be endorsed by the powers that be on this board to participate in this program. Hopefully the traders that participate in this wouldn't be too inundated with requests!
