Man, I don't know if I could watch "...Neptune men" without the riffing..."Prince of Space", no problem but .....

Indeed. I don't think I can watch "IotNM" unriffed either - the Hurting is just too Deep. "Prince of Space", though, I'd love to see that one unriffed. Just the dubbing alone is hilarious.
(Interestingly enough, "Prince of Space" anagrams into "POS". Coincidence? I think...so.)

I used to watch these movies (and The Thing That Wouldn't Die and Gorgo and The Creeping Terror and others) unMSTied back before Joel Hodgson had even thought of MST3K..... You can have your own fun with it, really.

I remember seeing "Laserblast" and "The Brain That Wouldn't Die" on Friday Fright Night and Saturday Creature Feature. "Laserblast" was tolerable but had to bite my lip through TBTWD!

I couldn't watch either. They are soooo repetative. Ha, ha, ha, your guns can't hurt me. But feel free to try over and over and over again and I'll keep restating the fact that they have no effect on me each time you do,
GAAA - It makes me want to pull out what's left of my hair.

That picture of Space Chief on the cover is from a high def scan I sent them. I wonder if they'll remember to send the free copy of the DVDs they offered me for the scan.

I saw The Brain That Wouldn't Die in a theatre when I was a kid. I thought it was pretty horrifying, but I was very young.

It Anagrams into FAN ICE COPPERS</nitpick> I think neptune man isn't any worse, and it has that lovely hitler building thingy midway through.

I did. It's a good disc (considering the content). It's really weird, though, to see these films with anamorphic transfers. The excellent dubbing work of Bellucci Productions is intact, of course.

Dark Sky actually cropped the movies from their original aspect ratios. One (or both) was filmed 2.35:1, and they decided to crop it down to 1.77:1.

Was the shot of the Hitler Building in Invasion of the Neptune Men? I;m just curious if they took it out, or left it in.
