yes i would not have been aggravated or upset with amazon if they had updated the possible shipping status of the movie before i ordered it. that was also my beef. when i purchased it shipping stated to be delivered in 2 days. that changed once my order was processed.
on the positive side of things my movie is on the truck for delivery today so some aggravating incurred but i will soon be chuckling away gleefully.

This is potentially great news, in my opinion. It means that the DVDs are probably selling a lot.

i ordered from Amazon.com and that 7-13 day thing happened so I canceled it and went on Amazon.co.uk and found someone selling it on Marketplace for £5. Supposedly it has been sent. Need to wait and see. I also had trouble with Vol.11. Ordered it from Caiman on the release date and had to wait two weeks for it to be sent. Still waiting on it arriving obviously but there were stock problems with that as well. Has there been a sudden swell in all things MST3K related style love?

This is the first time I've ordered anything from Amazon. I placed my order a few weeks ago, but I think my mistake was ordering both "Hollywood After Dark" and "Killers from Space" at once...so now I'm wondering if they're just going to wait until August and ship them both together.

If you chose "super saver" shipping they will wait.

Well, my MST3K vol. 11 just shipped, and my Film Crew has just been "Accepted." Not really sure what that means, but it doesn't sound bad.

Sorry if this is old info, but those with NetFlix accounts can watch Hollywood After Dark online. I watched it that way last night. I'd say the riffing is at the level of a mediocre Sci-Fi episode. Which is to say that I enjoyed it.

I'd say the riffing is at the level of a mediocre Sci-Fi episode. Hey, that's exactly how I described it.

I watched it last night and was pleasantly surprised. I thought it was better than any of the Rifftrax I've seen. (Only the first four) However the host seg equivalents are not so great. I'm sorry but these guys are funnier when they're in character. And I really miss the shadowrama. So it's MSTish, but just not the same. And as to the DVD itself, the authoring is very basic. Not even any chapter selection. And not enough chapter points, it would be difficult to skip the skits on repeated viewings. And when I watch it again I'd rather skip the skits.
