Two months ago Jack Davis who was one of my favorite artists(not just with Mad or EC comics but just in general)passed away. While it's sad to see him go, he did live a long prosperous life to the age of 91. May he rest in peace.

I heard the trick to enjoying Stern is to never listen when he has guests on, and just listen to the first hour when he's just shooting the poopie with Robin and the regulars. I've never disliked Stern, per se (I really enjoyed his movie "Private Parts" before he got to NYC), but his superfans make me not want to listen. He also inspired a ton of "I Can Do That!" Morning Zoo Crews that are intolerable.

I can tolerate Stern since I grew up in a house where the rest of my family listened to him but yeah with guests he tends to overdo the whole "ok now tell us how you really feel" shtick like he wants to make the guest uncomfortable. His book had some entertaining moments though I disagree on his views on whats funny(like his belief that Andrew Dice Clay is funnier than Johnny Carson).
