Sorry if this isn't supposed to be here, but I didn't want to post this in the MST3K section since it's about the regular version of the film.
The movie has a running time of 94 minutes so you know that some scenes are shorter or are cut completely.
This film is still horrible to watch, but some of the cut scenes help in what is going on in the movie. Here's some of them:
The scene where Buzz and Marty make their first drug deal together, you see them working on the engine. A car drives by and Buzz thinks that this is the guy, but it isn't. It's Harry Blatz and Marty says that it is a salesmen. When the druggie shows up and talks to the two men, we see Harry using spy equipment to listen in on the conversation.
After Buzz knocks out the gas station attendent and steals the cash, they drive off. Then Buzz tells Critter to take off, and Critter asks Buzz if he is worried about him telling the cops and Buzz says that Critter was an accomplice. Critter then tells Buzz that he gave him fifteen bucks to get to L.A. and he wants to reach L.A. before leaving.
When Buzz is inside the jail and Harry helps him get the drugs, Buzz kills Harry. We then see Buzz leave the jail, and leave the grounds.
This one really made me sad. In the MST3K version, when Michelle, Critter and Buzz are at the diner. Buzz teleports into the scene, which was very funny. But in the original version, you see Michelle and Critter talking and Buzz walks up with some drinks and then sits down. Maybe the copy that MST3K had contained some bad editing?
After the scene where Buzz shoots the tires out on the two bikers, we see Michelle driving and she drives off of the road. Buzz wakes up and says something to the fact of she wanted to drive to protect them from his drinking. Michelle then says that she was just tired.
There is a small scene where Critter and Michelle talk when they first arrive at the Haunted House and are introduced to Buzz's sister. Critter leaves and Michelle follows him. Then the scene where the two talk begins.
Also, the trailer for the movie had a few extra scenes that were cut I guess? Also, some of the dialog spoken is different (not a huge difference, but it is different).
The movie had commentary on it from the director, which I haven't listened to yet. But it should be interesting to hear.
