I have fear that if Harley Quinn were to be used, the actress would be a letdown.

Odds are, your average Hollywood actress would play it as an insane clown girl rather than someone who's merely pretending to be an insane clown girl. Of course, a lot of that might be up to the writing...it'd be a risky role, much as I hate to admit it.

Brittany Murphy could probably do a good insane clown

I would love to see a truly evil Joker or as said above, a Two Face who is not a sidekick

It's like a buffet of villians, I don't know where to start. I do have a feeling that the Joker will be in the Batman Begins sequel and we may see another appearance from the Scarecrow.

You know who would make sense? Talia al Ghul. A movie with Talia, Joker and Scarecrow would give you three truly iconic Gotham villains, each of a very different nature.
Talia might not even be a villain, but she'd be good in the story.

Hey how about the Wizard?

Much as I hate to admit it, Ratso, I'm unfamiliar with The Wizard. Is this a character that I might know but just haven't heard referred to by name (I was that way with Zsaz for ages), or is this an obscure character that I just probably haven't seen (I think the most obscure Batman villains I know are The Monk and Dr. Death. Not really too obscure, but not exactly first/second/third tier either.)

The wizard was this old guy in a wheelchair, who would charge himself up and become the super strong wizard. Funny stuff.

I keep meaning to buy the old serial, but something always diverts my attention when I see it in stores.
But really, if we're going with The Wizard, then why not someone like Dr. Death or The Monk?

To be honest I was joking when I mentioned the Wizard. (He was such a lame villain) as for Dr. Death and the Monk I'm not really a fan so I never want to see them in anything. Anyway the serials are worth checking out, they would have been great on Mst3k. "See Batman and Robin the boy wonder of 40"

Here's what I'd like to see:
Remove all affiliation with the previous Batman movies. Reuse all the villains. Dedicate an entire movie to each. (When they used more than one in a movie it felt they didn't have time to explore the full potential of those characters.) A really evil Joker (and Harley would make a sweet sidekick for him); the Penguin was great in "Returns" but I think it could have been better; seeing Harvey Dent turn into two face would be cool; Riddler could've been MUCH better; and theres no reason to even mention the rest. I was super psyched when I saw "Begins" because it is a chance to completely redo the whole damn thing. If they do with Batman what they've been doing with Spider-man, I will be happy as a pig in poopie.

Make him a mob boss rather than a gang leader, and have him not be an actual freak, just a kid who was tortured by his peers. I don't think Danny DeVito is the only person who could play Penguin either. That guy who played in 'Capote' would make a good Penguin in my opinion, he has the smarm sorta thing down. I realize that comic book Penguin really doesn't work as a major villian, mainly because he's not crazy or disfigured, but he would be a good thorn in Batman's side throughout the film. Additionally, Mad Hatter would be a cool choice as well. I could see him being used in a similar context to Scarcrow from the last film. Explaining Ra's past would be nice too, i.e. his affiliation with Lazarus pits. Also, the Ventriloquist would be a cool villian, with Batman struggling to rip The Ventriloquist himself from Scarface. If movie companies would like a Batman story chocked full of villians, human drama, and intrigue, A 'No Man's Land' movie series would be killer. Yeah, it would have to be a multi-part movie, but I would really like to see that. I think the big problem with my expectations though is that I, like so many others, hope that the movies will be close to the comic books, which they never are, simply because it's impractical to try to get something so complex into a film. Holy crap, that was nerdy.

"No Man's Land" as a movie?
Um...yeah, it'd be cool...but I don't think there's a single movie studio in the world that'd want to spend that much money!
Yeah, they'd probably make it back easily enough, but the cost alone would scare 'em all off.
