I definitely agree with the Independence Day, Aliens, and Super Man things, but I dont consider The Imperial Walkers to be one of the 10 stupidest things ever in Sci-Fi. Definitely not the most intelligent but not in the top 10. Still great article! Some really funny lines about the goofy improbabilities.

I agree with the independence day things and the Signs thing (god that movie sucked). But yeah, the walkers weren't too bad an idea. but they weren't really multi-terrain vehicles.

If I were to rank those, I'd have to put the Independance Day reference as #1. Not only was it a stupid idea, and a pure sample of product placement, but I found it totally absurd that the aliens would have computers that were Mac compatible. I mean, come on, don't they realize that there are very few, if any, viruses for macs?

Entertaining article, but the writer should've tried reading Jurassic Park before writing that the movie's Velociraptors were smarter. Because the 'Raptors from the movie were sit-in-the-corner dunces compared to the 'Raptors in the novel, which were so ridiculously smart that I'm surprised they didn't build a raft to get off the island!

From The Fly:
" Jeff Goldblum's character is smart enough to defy physics and biology in every conceivable way, including appearing attractive to Geena Davis, but he isn't smart enough to keep his equipment free of household pests."
LMAO!
